Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.

-snip-

Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?

Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.

"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.

-snip-

Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

-snip-

oops not so fast...a Madrid prosecutor claims that Scientologists can’t cure diabetes as they claim and a victim fell into a diabetic coma.

I answered the question honestly. I don’t have to work and I don’t receive a dime from the government.

If you say so.

What difference does it make if I don’t have to work or if I have to dig ditches to pay the mortgage?

It doesn’t change the FACT that Scientology is a dangerous religion and people get hurt.

Have you ever read the FBI files on this group?
Done any research...???

Or do you just like to run your mouth with nasty attacks on this thread?

Wow. That’s nice to know. I’ll send loved ones. I’m sure that Benny Hinn will want to know, too. (And, yes, I’m a Christian. I just don’t follow the ‘name it claim it’ brigade). Call me ‘picky’.

I was thinking “social worker” or “lobbyist”. Didn’t expect that she didn’t work at all.

There’s more behind this story than meets the eye. Why would one spend so much time attempting to traumatize those who’ve lost a dear one?

Apparently, there is only ONE poster on this thread that is very familiar on a personal basis with a scientologist. He chooses not to say much. I asked him if his friends believed in autism. He didn’t know.

He chooses to say not much else and that is his right.
Just as it is my right to bring up FBI files, lawsuits, criminal investigations, FDA claims, etc.

I am shocked at the people on this thread that condone the harm that comes as a result of this “religion”.

I am appalled at the posts that have been on this thread. Outright nasty attacks with no desire to actually understand Scientology and the harm it does...even to the point of Arizona Carolyn unwittingly actually making my point as she attempted to criticize me.

Shame on you for glossing over the real damage that is done by this cult.

You may post as many times as you like, but volume does not equal truth.

Ciao.

Baby, it’s not a RELIGION....it’s a cult. Their ‘status’ is only to receive ‘tax exempt status’ in the US. Other countries have disowned them. WHY the US has accepted them......who knows. Maybe lots of $$$ to the right places. Much like the UhBamuh crowd. Same thing. C-U-L-T. Glad I’m not in DC during the ‘coronation’.

Any religion that MAKES your forgo medical treatment with claims that they can cure you is suspect to me. One of the good things coming out of this tragedy is that the Scientologists on the low end of the totem pole forking over lots of cash...can now ask the higher ups how come Travolta got to use medications and they can't.

I don't know. Imho, those who have lost a beloved child deserve our compassion.

Well, I know it is a cult..but someone here posted a long post about the Constitution and what is considered a religion...and I guess an argument could be made that it is a religion...

Maybe the Cult of Obama can apply for tax exempt status, too.

I am going to respond one last time. Epilepsy is NOT a mental disease. It is a N-E-U-R-O-L-O-G-I-C-A-L disease. As such he would have neen treated by a neurologist and given appropriate drugs. Scientology is not against medicine, they are against most psychiatic drugs, which you clear do not understand the difference and are just trying to be needlessly cruel and mean to the Travolta family for some unknown reason. The autopsy said he died of seizure — not trauma of any sort.

The issue of demon possession was the first thing that came to mind regarding a Scientologist household and a sibling with multiple seizures being given alternative healthcare.

Ok, not a lobbyist, not a social worker?

You’ve lost someone that was not treated because of this religion?

You’re like a pit bull that won’t let go until he mauls his victims to their death. There has to be a reason.

Greta and Cortney Freol (sp) on Fox just stated they hope the Travolta family never decides to google their son’s death and have to read all the hateful comments on the internet.
