Details emerge on Jett Travolta's death

John Travolta, Kelly Preston and their children Jett and Ella Bleu, leave an airport in Rome.

John Travolta's lawyers -- who are close family friends -- reveal that Jett may have died in his father's arms Friday.

Us: How is John doing?

-snip- "John and Kelly are suffering total misery. They were so close to their son. This is hard to accept.

-snip-

Us: Have John and Kelly spent time with anyone since everyone arrived?

Ossi and McDermott: "John and Kelly have been pretty much locked away.

"We are staying here until John leaves. The autopsy should be on Monday.

-snip-

Us: It's been reported that Jett was left alone for several hours before being discovered. Can you clarify the timeline?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett was not left alone. He had a nanny present at all times. The nanny was sleeping close to Jett's room. There was a baby monitor, a chime on the door so it was known when Jett was going in and out. He was completely supervised. The nanny found him.

Us: Is it true that Jett died in John's arms?

Ossi and McDermott: "Jett may have still been alive when John administered CPR, and then the EMT took over. Jett was pronounced dead at the hospital. I like to believe John had a chance to say goodbye. He may have died in his dad's arms. I am not certain."

Us: It's been said Jett had a history of seizures. How often did he have them?

Ossi and McDermott: "I am not confident to talk about that. I know he had a history, which of course warranted the extra attention."

-snip-

Very sad indeed. Losing a child must be one of the most painful experiences in life.

Sadly, you’ll see him on the tabloids next week. It would be nice if the headlines aren’t as ugly as some of the posts have been on here.

The ex-scientologist that wrote about what would now happen to the Travoltas indicated that they would go through a process to telepathically rid themselves of Jett if he is still hanging around.

I think the Travoltas must be Operating Thetans as I have seen it reported that they are “clear”.

Their beliefs had an effect on a disabled minor child and may or may not have contributed to his death. But what remains clear...is that there IS a dispute at this point about the timeline of how long that child was left to die.

Transcript:

And then people who have epilepsy, which is a type of disease which gives them seizures, are almost always found on some minor drug that prevents them from getting these—they call them petit mal seizures. That’s epilepsy. I don’t care how they call it. Sometimes they really seize and sometimes it’s just slight. One of those, if an epileptic ever took you by the hand and so forth, he’s liable to break every bone in your hand, if he suddenly had a seizure. But the doctors keep them on something to prevent this. It’s just a tranquilizer and they keep them on that one year, year in and year out. And then you come along as an auditor (edit: a Scientology therapist) and you try to audit the pc (edit: a preclear, a Scientologist not yet properly brainwashed) and you tell the pc that he’ll have to go off that drug. And then all of a sudden, why something will happen from someplace or another that the pc will tell the doctor that they have been taken off the drug by the auditor. And the doctor will call up plaintively asking you to please put her back on the drug because she needs this. And you get into a collision between medical treatment and so on. Now I’ve been using a lot of medical words here or chemical words really. Just don’t pay any attention to them because they’re mostly gobbledygook, and there’s an awful lot of gobbledygook words. Gobbledygook just means nonsense chatter, you see. There’s an awful lot of them.

For those of you that still don’t get just how dangerous this cult is:

Epilepsy is caused by Thetans according to Hubbard and you don’t need “tranquilizers”...you need an audit to fix the problem. No medications.

It is reported that the Travoltas went to the Scientology center before the Bahamas. It might not be true but Should they be questioned on whether Jett got some kind of audit?

Do they ,as parents, get to withhold vital medicines because they believe the cause is Thetans and medicines will do no good as per the teachings of their founder?

But hey, I guess we aren’t suppose to ask these questions and anyone who does is suppose to be called names and told to shut up.

Ask away. I've yet to see any attempt by the Mods to silence you. If you don't want a response to your opinions, whether that response is positive or negative, don't post them.

The site, by far, has the most up-to-date information and may answer any questions one might have. Lots of great vids, documentation, info links, etc. People from all walks of life, ages, beliefs, etc. belong.

I didnt say mods were telling me to shut up. I am saying that posters are telling me to shut up and calling me horrible names.

Interestingly enough, some of those people have family members who have to deal with seizures...and they just don’t seem to understand what Scientologists think about their care of their loved ones. Pull the meds and get rid of the Thetans.

Just where do these posters who have to deal with this draw the line between parental control and the rights of the child to not be subjected to audits and ridiculous notions of medical care.

Jett Travolta died a horrible death. Perhaps soon we will know just how horrible..how long did he lay on that floor because the nanny, who was suppose to be with him 24/7 so he was never left alone, didn’t know he had a seizure.

By the way, anyone still believing the Kawasaki BS should do a little research and wonder why the Travoltas kept publicizing that this was Jett’s problem instead of the real problem.

Perhaps the Travoltas couldn’t admit the real problem because of Scientology...and who suffered the most? The disabled son whose parents really believed that Thetans were the cause.

I am not posting to convince you of anything. Just as I told ArizonaCarolyn that she can think people who worship the Islam faith are free to follow Sharia law..

Of course, she claims that isn’t what she is saying..but that is EXACTLY what she is saying when she tells me that anyone should feel free to worship as they see fit and anyone who criticizes...glass house yada yada yada.

I don’t care what you believe. You can believe the Kawasaki BS if you want.

You can educate yourself or you can continue on the same vein. It is your choice and I don’t call you names because you want to gloss over the death of Jett Travolta.

I won't call you by the names you deserve, either. Why bother? Obsession is not easily remedied.

How enlightened of you. Perhaps one day you will recognize the very real danger of Scientology and their belief system as they march against medications for children.

Kelly Preston believes everyone who has posted here with family members who have seizures... those who have criticized me.... are wrong to give their children medicine to control epilepsy.

I feel sorry for anyone who has lost a child, and for anyone who lacks compassion. It’s very sad.

I hate to get embroiled in this again but...how do you know Kelly Preston thinks it's wrong to give their children medicine to control epilepsy?

See post #9 where Waterboard picked up some info from the news that said they did indeed treat Jett with Depakote for years.

What information do you have that says they didn't?

What if the acts of the parents contribute to that loss?

It is clear that Scientology does not believe in medication for epilepsy or seizures.

The Scientology heirarchy face an interesting dilemma. Do they tell their members that the claim that the Travoltas used a medicine for seizures was merely a fabrication to the world because the world wouldn’t understand ....so it was necessary given Travolta’s reputation to fabricate the lie.

Or do they tell the members that the Travoltas fell off the wagon..and their child died because they gave him medication which Scientology vehemently opposes...much like I saw a poster claim on TMZ..that Jett wouldn’t have died if they had never given him the medicine ...and they were bad Scientologists.

I'm not interested in your rationalizations. A simple “my condolences to the Travoltas” is all that was necessary on this thread.
