Oh yes, we are nature buffs here.
:-)
LOL
I know what you mean, LadyJ
Does the different browsers only look different for font sizes that are defined?
If not, we would have to make all replies into graphics. Heck it takes me forever just to find a graphic. :) That is why I sometimes don’t get all of my pings answered.
Thank you, Billie. I’m finally getting back after snack, homework and dinner. Not bedtime yet.
Lori did all the work on this; I just downloaded, uploaded and posted. Easy Job you two give me. :)
Huh? Sorry. I am really confused. I don't know what you mean by making the replies into graphics.
I think that the different browsers just read and translate some html code differently. For some reason firefox is continuing the -3 font throughout the post, whereas Internet Explorer doesn't do that.
I have never used -3 as a font size. I wonder if using font size=1 would accomplish the same thing but be read the same by both browsers?
Oh I like this, Yorkie.
I have never read anything by J.R.R. Tolkien. Thank you for sharing this and the nice “Warm” Graphic.
I can’t find the quote but he sez what he means.
I need spinach now.
Dittos
;(
I can’t play music on my computer. I forgot to have son check that yesterday.
While Marissa is in school, I play the music on her computer and read (and hopefully) answer pings on mine. :)
;o )
Hummingbird visitor ... that is wonderful, Dita.
It is still too cold here for hummingbirds. They are so much fun to watch.
Yes, I heard they are going to Windows 7. Vista just got too much negative press right off the bat and they could never overcome that. Even when they gave people Vista and told them it was something else and they LOVED it, it didn't help. People were just dead set against accepting Vista. And, you are right, most of it was because it was incompatible with programs that they used every day.
There is no reason why you should not be able to remove Vista from your new computer and install the Windows 7 operating system. But from what I've heard it won't be out for awhile, it's still being tested. There was absolutely nothing wrong with XP. No one that I know of was unhappy with it. That could be another reason why people never warmed up to Vista. They just saw it as another way for Microsoft to generate more income while making all their programs obsolete. Also, when you bought a new PC, Vista was forced on people. Now it's different, you can specify which operating system you want with a new PC.
Hmmm .... I didn’t realize the song was about a vampire. I’ll listen to it more closely later.
What I meant was if different browsers read text differently, we would need to put all text in a graphic to get it to appear the same to everyone.
Still confused? It wasn’t important anyway, just a comment about the different browsers.
Man, you have an expert tongue!
WOW .... Lady J.
Thank you for the lovely postcard. Snow makes everything so pretty and pristine.
So far, Marissa hasn’t gotten interested in Harry Potter or vampires.
She is interested in witches, tho. October she kept asking me to unlock the parental controls so she could watch Halloween Town.
Lovely, Jaycee. Thank you.
