"What?" I didn't want to seem all stuffy about it. I like to think of myself as open-minded, even if I do have a stilted manner of speaking sometimes.

It’s good to know you all survived!
From what I hear Vegas’ new fire regulations prohibited fireworks from the tops of the hotels.
I suspect when word gets around, the FD will make some changes, and do just like Metro does: add more staff on nights when the danger is highest.

Thanks, a bunch of family and I are keeping busy today.
Young Thomas is teething for three weeks now.
5 weeks till some teeth I guess, but the poor little fellow is in some pain and is cranky.
I have that teething gel for help.
Can’t wait till teething is done though...

I always had a mini-bottle of whiskey in the freezer for when my son was teething. I’d rub some on his gums when he was teething and it really helped. Cheaper than OTC meds, but with the same active ingredient!

How much more homeopathic can you get that distilled spirits? Even beer is “homeopathic.” Alcohol is made from the sugars in grain, potatoes, root vegetables and cane.
You keep it in the freezer so it keeps for as long as the teething lasts. You only rub a little on the gums...you don’t make the kid drink it!
It was (is?) a lot cheaper than OTC “remedies” which all contain alcohol!
