Good evening. As Arctic temps and snow grip much of the country, I pray for all those who travel and have to spend time outside.
Also remember the many affected by the economic woes this season...anecdotal stories we're all hearing bring the statistics to life, and add a somber theme to the time which is usually so joyful.

We go to a small church in out little neighborhood, attendance growing, just finished building a new church to hold the new members. Workers from churches from ‘up north’ are coming down and helping with the finishing of the interior. OK, all those things I have said about yankees I AM SORRY! We forgive you for ‘whupping’ us in the little disagreement in the 1800’s.

Looks like Obama has started putting out fires before he even gets into the White House.

Too funny!
As we were setting up the manger scene we debated where to put the Wise Men. We decided to move them out and below the Manger area... as if they were on the journey.
As I was doing some last minute rearranging of the shepherds and the sheep I came close to the Wise Men. One of the ladies told me I almost stepped on one of the Three Kings.
I retorted back, "Probably no worse than his visit with Herod."
We got a laugh out of that one.

Facebook.com is a social networking site. When you sign up for an account, you can become friends with others. You send a person a friend request and if they accept then you can see each other’s profiles.
You cannot, as far as I know, see the profiles of people withwhom you are not friends. You can “chat” with a friend who is online at the same time you are. You can send messages. You have an area for a “status” such as “Mary has eaten too much and is bloated,” or whatever else you may want to say about yourself. You can post pictures and videos you want to share with your friends.
I find it is an easy way to keep up with students who have left HIS and are out pursuing the rest of their lives. I can read their status updates and profiles and see if they’ve graduated college, or where they work and if they’re married and have kids now.
It began as a network for college kids and now has expanded to anybody.

Good morning, ladies.
Old man winter has a mighty big punch for his age. More nasty weather headed our way for many of us. Blah!
