Good morning!
The markets ended on a positive note, and we made it thru a day - Friday - without an Obama press conference. ( I think I'm correct on this...)
A snow soldier made by retired Staff Sgt. Rich Weaver stands in the front yard of his Slingluff Ave. home in Dover Tuesday. Weaver, 38, served in Iraq with the 1485th Transportation Company of the Ohio National Guard at Dover. He said he decided to make the snow tribute to troops because he knows it’s really hot in Iraq and he thought it was a cool idea. “Even Frosty supports the troops,” Weaver said. (Story from March 2007.)
God bless all of our brave troops, and God bless America.
Good night everyone.
Goodnite.
Woo Hoo!
Gardner, thanks for the update on your son. I’m glad to know that he is still working and hunting!
ML, thank you for the beautiful bouquet. I love it.
Good Night!
David is quite amazing and I am literally having the time of my life!! I moved my church membership from Tillamook to the Methodist church here in town. He is an elder there. We go to Sunday school and church each Sunday there. Yesterday we spent the day setting up for the Bazaar today, then worked it from 10 to 4 this afternoon. Weather was great and we made a nice bundle for the Christmas fund.
Still volunteering at the Clinic and Care Center. Going to CA from the 18th to 1/5. Was going to drive the motor home and spend 3 months, however, I have a life now so am flying despite my fears.
All is good...very, very good :-)
Thanks for thinking about me...I am going to read all the posts and try to drop a note tomorrow.
I just sent you a picture to your email address. It is in a gif format and I can’t get it to post. Hope you can. Love, B
Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day!
Good morning.
Thank you for the nice breakfast, lysie.
Good morning Dawn Patrol. We did the Christmas show last night and it went well. We may be offered another show next week as the coordinator fears she may be getting another cancellation. Her job is tough this time of year, it seems.
Off to church later this morning and then some relaxation and fun activities. Will clean out the garage this afternoon as it’s a chore that is past due.
Have a Blessed Lord’s Day everybody.
You are welcome.
Good when people can drop by to say hi & catch up on a bit of news - I seem to not have much going on of big interest - things about the same as last year at this time & even 5 years ago at this time... part of routine with caregiving invalid mom who is doing okay, overall
Nice to see you Gardener - I think I recall you telling us last year about the marriage? or maybe it was longer than that
Good Morning Everyone! We are going to make a short roadtrip midmorning to a farm store. I am looking for a John Deere stocking cap (Grandpa is hyperventilating).

LOL
I think I remember a conversation about John Deere...a few years ago. ;-)
We drove by our local Feed Store yesterday and my husband says “I just LOVE going in that place.” It brings him such memories of his childhood. His uncle had a Tack Room too, and the Feed Store has a lot of that in one room. Smells about the same. We have absolutely no need to go into the Feed Store. Except emotional.
Good morning.
Since our theme for Christmas this year is "Childhood Favorites", we are giving her one of these....
....a John Deere Barbie Doll.:)
Kinda looks like her too, with the long blonde hair.:)
