Good morning.
Thank you for the nice breakfast, lysie.
Good when people can drop by to say hi & catch up on a bit of news - I seem to not have much going on of big interest - things about the same as last year at this time & even 5 years ago at this time... part of routine with caregiving invalid mom who is doing okay, overall
Nice to see you Gardener - I think I recall you telling us last year about the marriage? or maybe it was longer than that
Morning all, a little chill in the air, sunny, NO forecast of snow, chickens clucking, roosters crowing (am wondering if there is any meaning to this, ah hummmmm), dogs on my front porch, fool cat GD GAVE me is out of his mind (will be next week for sure, gonna get his claws out and ‘fixed’).
In other words, just a normal day at the ole ‘Shack in the back’.
TJ had his birthday yesterday and the other foster child when adopted will have MY bithdate, what an honor. I am telling you all that getting foster children, watching their lives change, so full of love, nothing could be any finer. SO many youngsters out in this world just thrown to the wolves, no love, no care in a home, and yes, I am so proud of my kids. I think ALL should get involved somehow with the foster children, gifts on holidays, whatever. I know most of us are in the ‘older years’ and can't do what the youngsters can do but we all can get involved in some way.
Oh, forgot.....The kids are ‘talking’ about maybe one more, a little girl. when I die they will say ‘we could not find his heart’ cause it is left with these youngsters.
Just wanted to get my day started so now can start getting ready for church then go watch the boys while D and SIL get ready.
