Poor little guy..Such bad injuries are a real challenge..and much more traumatic than spsying and a hernia fix..
I try not to think what just normal tests, vaccines and spaying are costing..I know what I spent on my kitty that had cancer..I just had to give it a try..
I may regret not confining them..We shall see how tomorrow goes..

Nice shot! We have a lot hawks around here, too. I feed birds year round and they feed the hawks. ;-)

Not just two broken legs—two on the same side! He seemed to handle it way better than his humans did! They get inside your heart, so easy and so deep. People thot we were crazy to spend so much on a dog. I never regretted it.

Where I had the typo placed would have read it’s eye...ie it is eye.
So in that case t’would be its.
No biggie, I just like to fix my own typos when I catch ‘em, is all.

Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.
He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I know the difference between it’s and its and was too obtusely saying so.

Meggers, patients usually are active the first night because of leftover drugs. Tomorrow they will likely be more scarce.

Pets are family. If they get in trouble healthwise..one does the best one possibly can.
I think because animals can’t “talk” and can be so stoic..it gets to you more..

The little one took a very short snooze and acts like nothing at all happened today..Hopefully she is quieter tomorrow! I am going to settle in so hopefully she will, too.She is in my bed because that’s where she wants to be.
I’m tired even though she acts like she isn’t..Those leftover drugs are great for her pain, though.
Smokey is in the closet..resting well.

Beautiful PIC. Dont know where you live, but Im glad I live here! Snow and ice are ONLY pretty in PICS! LOL Thank you, gg and I tend to agree with you on the snow and ice only being pretty in pictures - we don't get that much here, and when it does snow, it's mostly all gone the next day.

I love your snow picture of your front yard. Thank you, Meg, and anyway I enjoy your kitty stories - they're very entertaining! Do hope the stitches remain intact until they're healed!

Pets are family. If they get in trouble healthwise..one does the best one possibly can. I agree, and doubt there is anyone on this thread who would question or raise an eyebrow at the expense we would go through if there is a chance to save our precious pets. It's too hard to see them in pain and not try to do all we can to 'fix' them.
