Beautiful, Meg.....makes me cold...brrrr! Say you are having cold weather? We are having rain again. I need to go out tomorrow if I am able. The temp is 47 at the moment...don’t know about tomorrow, it’ll probably snow, knowing my recent luck. But I try to stay thankful for all things the best I can.
Thanks, Meg - as your very cold winter snow picture! I'm always amazed at the animals who can be in the cold like that and apparently they've grown enough winter hair/fur that it doesn't bother them. Makes me cold just looking at those horses traipsing through that deep snow, pulling a sled full of people probably very bundled-up in heavy, warm blankets - drinking hot cocoa! :)

Luv, I just read your post. Just trying to get a little more work done. It is 47 here today and raining. I need to go out tomorrow and wonder what tomorrow may bring. Never know at this time of year.....What time will the soup be ready? LOL!
And Billie’s black-eyed peas and cornbread! I would have a hard time choosing.
Amy and Billie, Marissa is a Precious Young Lady; may our Lord's Blessings be with her Always. Billie, your Opening Post is So Beautiful, and I'm about to Listen to the Link.
Thank you so much. I think you will like the song. It's very 'country-sounding', but very pretty. I like almost all music (except for rap and hard rock - yuk!)
It's Icy and Cold where I am, but my Doggie is Running and Playing through the Ice, just Filled with Energy and Joy! She had been Looking a Little Underweight Lately, but now has Put Some Meat on her Bones, and is Growing her Winter Coat. She is So Cute!
Awwwwww. It does seem like cold weather makes the animals frisky and full of energy though!
Trade you my strawberries for black-eyed peas and cornbread!
YES! Gimme some!
I have a better idea - let's eat the black-eyed peas and cornbread for dinner - then we'll have the strawberries for dessert - maybe on top of Meg's chocolate cheesecake! LOL
I second that “notion”.....
Going upstairs now for a while and vacuum....I hope!

I am sleeping late . late...and keeping up with the bird feeding..Really enjoying my cardinals..4 pair is unusual for me to have. It is still freezing ..Usually we warm up by this time of day..We had a bit of drizzle last night causing car wrecks, of course..
I hope you rest a lot..small steps. I have the vacuum sitting in my bed room and the furniture cleaning rag sitting on my dresser..It doesn’t move until I move it..LOL
I did the bathroom mirrors and put away the step stool..for awhile..
SOLD! I would love it all!
So pretty, Billie!
Horses are amazing animals. I believe those are Clydesdales.
Mmmmmm....your blackeyed peas sound good too!...and cornbread.
I am thinking of making cornbread for my soup!
This seems to be a soup kind of a day! LOL!

How beautiful, Lady!
Billie, I listen to this song every day on my Alan Jackson Christmas CD and on another bluegrass CD. And now I can listen here. I really love “And the Angels Cried.” Thanks for posting the lyrics, and that sweet illustration.
I’m sorry I missed you too, Meg. I enjoyed reading about your bird menagerie that stopped by your place yesterday. I have black phoebes living in the tree behind my house. They are sweet-sounding birds, they have a soft song.
I believe the Cardinals love cold weather. I haven’t been feeding the birds much lately and that is not nice of me.
Every time I put the stool away, I need it right away!
Yummm-meeee. I have now got the “concept.” Thanks very much, Billie. I never ever get tired of potatoes and the various ways they can be prepared. I will let you know when I make these!!!
