Thank you for our wonderful Daily Bread today, Mr. Mayor! Its been raining here all day! At least the temp. is 55 at present but I hear we will be in low 30's tomorrow.

Whewwww .... I've had a busy morning.
School buses were cancelled again today.
Yesterday we took Marissa to school about 10:00. Today, she stayed home.

We decided it was not safe to get on the streets ...
even for a short distance.
So today, we played Home Schooler.
We worked on her multiplication tables and she read a book.
She will also miss AWANA tonight.
There are too many crazies on the roadways.

I am busy collecting teeth impressions and saliva DNA from the new sack of kitty food I left on the kitchen floor last night..
The kitties allowed me to sleep in..I wondered why until I saw the evidence spilled on the floor from a small hole left by the perp..I have only circumstantial evidence of the perp..Smokey is always hungry..and I swear she looks guilty.

I am doing nothing today but regular cleanup..and not enough of that..LOL I better get a move on!
It’s sunny and chilly here..It warmed up to 55.

It is hard to imagine snow in LA!! Comon that is not real snow!!

My family lives in NC and if it might snow the whole state closes!

Just rain now but it is warm like 39 degrees. We had a low of 6 degrees last week.

Weather Channel is so liberal these days I had to become amateur meteorologist. I should get a life!!

There are too many crazies on the roadways.

Not only crazies, but sea lions.

A trucker hit a sea lion up on I-5 near Lodi, CA the other day/night. Seems the sea lion swam up though the Delta from San Francisco Bay and musta thought I-5 was a short cut.

For those unfamiliar with the geography around here, Lodi is south of Sacramento and over 50 miles inland from the Bay Area.

Where in NC? I’m close to Morehead. You’re right—two snowflakes and they’ll close school for a week! :) Course, my butt’s not going out either! Boss doesn’t even expect me to call out—he just knows.

Wow ... even the sea lions get lost in the fog. LOL

It seems to be clearing some here. I hated keeping Marissa home but at least 1/3 of the school missed yesterday. When they cancel buses, all kids who ride the bus get an excused absence. Marissa does not ride the bus only because we don’t want her to. Normally the bus stops here at 7:00am. We leave here at 7:48 and she gets to school 5 minutes early.

I have had a hard time checking everything out today. Thats a precious Good Morning greeting you sent, Amy! Thank you so much. It has rained all day and finally I had to go get that gift for Red Hats tomorrow. Umbrella up, umbrella down, up, down....know what I mean! Supposed to be in low 30’s tomorrow, won’t that be nice?
