Busy, busy. Where does the time go? LOL

Everyone on the east coast—take care. Looks like it’s going to get a lot worse before it gets better, weatherwise. 70 here—course it’s raining like a hurricane and the wind is picking up. :)

Northeasterner that is me!! We had ice this morning in the beautiful Hudson Valley, and I will skip the gym and go straight home...supposed to be the worse tonight. No effort to skip the gym!! LOL

I Choose the Mountain

The low lands call I am tempted to answer They are offering me a free dwelling Without having to conquer The massive mountain makes its move Beckoning me to ascend A much more difficult part To get up the slippery bend I cannot choose both I have a choice to make I must be wise This will determine my fate I choose, I choose the mountain With all its stress and strain Because only by climbing Can I rise above the plane I choose the mountain And I will never stop climbing I choose the mountain And I shall forever be ascending I choose the mountain howard simon

I was watching the radar this am. Did you see all the snow in La/MS? Better them than me! LOL OTOH, if we get snow, it usually comes up from GA and meets a nor’easter.

It’s The Old Man of the Mountain in New Hampshire, a natural formation. Despite heroic efforts, it fell several years ago and only appears in photos now.

Our whole family (10 of us) went to a Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert last year. FANTASTIC!!!

I often have “Lost Christmas Eve” playing in the background.

Thanks much for this beautiful picture. Austria was where our unit did post-war occupation. Not exactly an appropriate image but we had a beer hall in the Sound of Music castle.

Its been raining all day and I don’t want to go out but I have to, to get a gift for Red Hats tomorrow. I am only hoping I will be able to go. I have tried to rest today but have so much to do. Maybe tomorrow I will feel a little better.
