Not a bad idea. Do you have any idea what type of money that might bring in? I have no idea at all, but if it might be lucrative, that may be an option, too.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks for posting that about christian jobs.

I would imagine $15 to $25 an hour depending on how organized you are and what part of the country you’re in. If you throw in add-ons like grocery shopping, picking up dry cleaning, etc., where you can hire a teenager to do the actual add-on, I’d suppose that you could push it up to $40. Or include the add-on in with your own, and get paid to do your shopping, etc.
I have friends that are so busy making money they don’t even have time to sort their own mail. LOL Private secretaries, cooks, house cleaners, yard crews, etc. They have got it down pat though. One guy has a regular home like mine in town and then a 6M dollar mansion up at the lake. He writes off the mansion as a guest home by having business guests stay there on weekends a couple of times a month.

These are all excellent suggestions! I never even thought about this, how far this could be expanded.
Thank you so much!

Now, get an adman and learn how to announce your new business to the customer base that you are interested in. Go for it. Good luck.

The small business administration has lots of material. Some of it is actually readable and it is FREE. The Chambers of Commerce around the country have stuff too. If there is a SCORE chapter in your area try and find a retiree who has experience in the type of business you want to start. Lastly there are many consultants for business - many bad ones and many good ones. I charge an outrageous fee for my services but they are in some very narrow field that not many people know anything about. I will give you a free tip. You are always the last to get paid.

Yeah, i’ve tried many of them. I've filled out a zillion online applications(about 4 hours a day for over a week now) and have had only one contact. Maybe it takes a few weeks to get into the system(s). - getting frustrated. Been to all the local malls. NOONE seems to be hiring.

Unfortunately, my wife uses the car for work, so I won’t be able to commute much.

Your daughter who is a nurse. They are like gold in so many places. Has she considered moving? In Santa Barbara, there are so many “traveling nurses”. The rents are pricey, but may be worth considering.
