An archaeological dig in northern Kentucky has uncovered Native American tools and bison bones from a hunt that took place hundreds of years ago.
Evidence at the site in Big Bone Creek shows that the hunters killed, and butchered the animals with stone tools, leaving the bones and tools behind.

I guess we’ll have to learn to use those stone tools to kill and butcher our meat, too, if Barackobama takes away our huntin’ guns.
And we’re likely to have to go back to hunting our own food.
This can’t be. The native Americans were peaceful, and totally one with their environment. They were all vegans. I think I saw that on Animal Planet. The bones and weapons obviously come from some white male Republican shindig.
Meat will be outlawed.

What do you mean “go back to”?
First dear of the season is already in the freezer, and a spring gobbler & two fall jakes have joined it.
One turkey tag left; and 2 deer to go. IF those two tags are filled, Sportsmen Against Hunger will benefit nicely.

We prefer roasted meat. Vegetarian is an ancient indian word for lousy hunter. As recent as the 1880s we were still stepping off the rez to raid.
