Hi, kitty! Thank you! Hope you’re having some beautiful cool mornings and evenings and time to enjoy them. :)
Thank you, Dear Billie! The Weather has been Beautiful, and Today we Got a Substantial Rain Shower, which was Badly Needed, so that Made it Even Better. : )

Unused Muscles
The manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all. 1 Corinthians 12:7
My wife recently visited a physiotherapist to seek relief for her neck and shoulder pain. When the problem did not go away after several visits, she asked why. She was told that her pain was because of some lazy neck muscles.
Apparently, the neck muscles that were supposed to hold her head upright were not doing their job. As a result, her shoulder muscles had to take over the function of holding up her head. This caused unnaturally stiffened shoulder muscles. The solution? Exercises were prescribed to train her neck muscles to do what they were designed to do.
In a way, her problem depicts what happens in the body of Christ. God has given each believer gifts that are to be exercised for the common good of the church (1 Cor. 12:7). But when some dont pull their weight, others far less gifted in those areas must pitch in. Although the body of Christ continues to function, it is not functioning at its best. There are some overworked Christians around!
God wants us to use our spiritual gifts to benefit others in the church. When we work together, we keep the body strong. What has God gifted you to do so that you can help relieve the strain the church is suffering?
All Christians have been gifted
By grace from God above,
Equipped to build and strengthen
The church in faith and love. Fitzhugh

When political enemies are vanquished and power is consolidated with an army to maintain that power, what happens to those who voted them into power in order to receive loot (taxes) which had been plunder from their neighbors? When their vote is no longer needed, why should those in power continue to pay for votes that they no longer need? Note well the fate of the “brown-shirts” when they were no longer needed.
No. No. B.O.
It’s not where “the economy needs to go”.
But rather how much of our dough.
You’re going to take to get there.

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today...
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace...
You, you may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world...
You, you may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

Bathtub Day
The Archeo Copper Bathtub ~ made of solid copper, the tub is hand-crafted
by the very people who refurbished Lady Libertys torch. Over five feet long and
two-and-a-half feet wide, the tub is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate
just about anyone. The fluted faucet and hand-held shower unit are designed with
the same aesthetic quality as the rest of the tub, featuring a finely engraved
starfish-on-seashell knob. The extravagantly made tub easily takes its place as
the worlds most expensive bathtub with its $67,557 price tag.
Most Expensive "stuff" ~ Interesting!
National Storytelling Day continues

Getting back to the movie fans with the B.O. (box office) report for the past weekend:
'Chihuahua' top dog at boxoffice
Disney's "Beverly Hills Chihuahua" broke out of a crowded pack to take best of show at the weekend boxoffice....
Two ideologically driven movies squeezed into the bottom of the top 10. Vivendi Entertainment's "An American Carol," David Zucker's flag-waving, proudly right-wing comedy, secured the ninth-place berth with $3.8 million, while Liosgate's "Religulous," Bill Maher's skeptical lambasting of the world's religions, was right behind in 10th place with $3.5 million.
However, Daily Variety provides this:
Vivendis "American Carol" grossed $3.7 million from 1,639 screens, while "Religulous" bowed to $3.4 million from 503.
Regional box office breakdowns for the two pics are a lesson in the partisan divide.
The Maher docu overperformed expectations in the Northeast and slightly overperformed in the West, while it underwhelmed in the Midwest, South and Southeast.
"Religulous" drew crowds in the very states in which Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama is polling well. According to RealClearPolitics.com, an independent political website that culls and publishes a broad sampling of polling data, Obama enjoys a lead over John McCain in California, Oregon, Washington, all of New England, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
It was the polar opposite for "American Carol," which rips left-wing politics. The film overperformed in the Midwest, South and Southeast, home to some of the states where McCain commands a lead, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama and the Dakotas.
Political season hits its peak
