I need advice in establishing a Celebrity chef or television chef ping list.
There is an existing food ping list though I'm not sure how active it is. This would not be a place for the exchange of recipes though if that were to happen I wouldn't have an issue with it.
The main purpose would be the diversion from more serious matters to discuss television food personalities and news of interest to "foodies": Rachel Ray, Anthony Bourdain, Bobby Flay, Mario Batali, Jacques Pépin, Paula Deen and so on.
TOPICS: Food
KEYWORDS: chefs; food; foodie; foodies; freeperkitchen

Add me to your ping list.
And the holidays aren’t the same without Carlo and his threads.

I’m suspecting it will be an early winter this year. I’m already seeing signs of autumn and it “smells” like fall.

You can add me. I’ve been on Carlos’ ping list for a long time. Always enjoy his threads.

I reckon spatzie ought to be on the list, since she's in that line. She's not been real active at FR lately, but that may change as her schedule goes through seasonal changes.
And if you'd add me to the list as well, I'd certainly appreciate it.

carlo, so good to see you and thank you for these links - this is a veritable treasure trove!! I got rid of all my cookbooks when we moved, and have been building an "electronic" cookbook, all recipes saved to a portable hard drive.
AW, please add me to what looks to be a fun ping list :-)

I heard a strange thing today. TX corn farmers have noticed the spanish (TX) thistle is blooming which portends an early winter.Interesting...just yesterday, up here in the Oregon Territory, Mr. Inspectorette saw a flock of geese flying south. We had a nasty winter last year, and are not looking forward to it starting too early!

I smelt fall a couple of days ago in 103o heat and it stopped me in my tracks! I did the dumbfounded, looking around thing.

I heard that Portland may hit 100 today.
We have thunderboomies at the hacienda, so we may not hit 85 degrees.
Portland hotter (by a bunch) than Texas. Don't see that too often.
Artemis, even though I boycott cable TV, please add me to the list!
