Niagara Falls is only 7 miles from my house and the intakes for the power generators are just over the bridge.
Enjoy your day.

Good Morning Amy :)

Thank! Booboo is taking group lessons too. A few hours each day next week. They both should have such a good time. I like that it is group lessons. Good for them to be with other kids doing this also. I sure do wish they could play together.:)
A Tea. That's such a great idea! I think it's adorable how much Marissa enjoyed tea time in DC. Booboo use to take a tea cup and fill it with water, when I had tea. The kids are so much fun.
Hugs!

Beautiful flowers, Meg! Yours?
Sorry I’ve been AWOL. I’ve been checking my pings, and enjoying them, just not much time to post. Been freezing blueberries, and putting up corn, and hubby decided he wanted salsa. He wanted to use the jalapenos he grew. Fine. I told him that the seeds were the hot part—meaning to cut them out. He didn’t. 4 days and another half a bushel of maters/another quart of corn and half a bag of black beans, I finally got the “mild” to the point where it’s edible. The hot... I canned it anyway. I figure one jar of that in a huge batch of chili will be jsut about right.
Y’all have a great day!
To: MEG33
I wish I could Meg.
I’m off for the day, enjoy yours too.

LOL, Thanks. I’ll be right over. ;) You are being modest. It looks so inviting. So lovely! :) It must be nice to sit on the front porch. We had a front porch at my home, where I grew up. I always wanted one as an adult but never worked out that way...yet ;)

It's great to see you! You look beautiful :) Reunions are such fun. We recently had everyone home. Seeing my niece and nephews, much older than last time, was something. I really miss everyone. We had a great time. :)

Good Morning Mama_Bear
Some more storms today. A lot of rain. But it's good. You will have cooler temps starting tomorrow and sunshine to enjoy your vacation.
Isn't Plymouth so beautiful. One of these days, I'd like to take my daughter to MA. I hope you get us some pictures to see. ;)
How was your trip to your Mother's and Grandmother's neighborhood? Did you see their houses? A lot of changes?

I it is the Brit in me but whenever I see or hear the word hash I always think of corn beef hash. Do you have that in the States?
In case you do not here is the recipe not that it would interest you Dolly.
350g / 12oz Corned Beef, diced
50g / 2oz Butter
1 tbsp Oil
275g / 10oz Boiled Potatoes, sliced
2 Medium Onions, chopped
Salt and Pepper
Fried eggs to serve (optional)
How to make Corned Beef Hash
Heat 25g / 1oz of the butter and oil in a large frying pan and gently fry the sliced potatoes, turning occasionally for 5 minutes or until brown - do not mash. Remove with a slotted spoon and keep warm.
Add the remaining butter to the pan and fry the onions for 5 minutes until soft and golden.
Add the corned beef and reserved potatoes, salt and pepper and heat thoroughly, turning all the time.
To serve you Corned Beef Hash - pile into a pyramid onto a hot serving dish and top with fried eggs if using. Serve very hot.

Some fantasy!
I love those big ole strawberry jars, and blue lobelia. Unfortunately, neither works very well in the heat and humidity of eastern NC.
I’m going to blame the fire on hubby!
Banging head against wall... Remember—you have to be specific—like with a toddler! One instruction at a time, speak very slowly, always make eye contact, and confirm, confirm, confirm! Then check every couple of minutes anyway!
To: MEG33
While you are wishing...wish some rain for me, too!
We are hot, dry and it’s not getting any better! :D
My yard looks splendid...but my water bill does not! LOL!
