Thanks for the help. :)
Hi everyone. I am sorry to be so “absent” of late. Mom has been in hospital & now at rehab center
Dutchess/Mama_bear.. hoping I can make it on Monday but now things are a little fuzzier than a few weeks ago.. with not only trial but mom complications. If it does NOT work for Monday , I might be able to get to WV on Thursday or Friday if you will still be there.. I can see Nan also but will miss dutchess.. I really wont know until last minutes unfortunately about Monday.
It started the weekend of the 12th.. Mom’s 90th birthday weekend. My brother from Ok in town to celebrate. I thought it would be good to get her OUT for first time in 3 years.. Actually first time UP in 3 years.
we took her to the outdoor Bandstand concert where I am on committee. All summer on Sunday PMs we have concerts. This week was the Polka Hall of Fame. She is Slovak & loves the music. Getting her up was “challenging”. Needed the EMTs actually to help.
Concert was great as was the weather. She enjoyed the music (stayed in car.. we parked close & had windows down & she was as close as most attendees on lawn chairs. She loved watching all the people & the first time out for years.
We did NOT go home from there but took the 3 hours drive to Dunkirk NY where her brother (turned 88 on July 4) lives & spent a few days there..
VERY nice visit for her despite limitations. Needed the EMTs to again get her into car & at that point prevailed on mom to make a stop at ER in Ohio near home to get some med evaluation to see if she could walk again.. She said she did wish to pursue that as she does want to walk & hates being so limited..
She has not been to docs for decades. We are a lot alike in our allergies to traditional medicine. .. so that got the ball rolling. She is on NO meds except occasional OTC pain & allergy meds.
All her tests came out excellent.. BP, EEG, EKG, MRI etc.. only an ear infection (which ironically they did NOT treat the entire time.. but they did run every expensive test Medicare provided... I began the hydrogen peroxide/witch hazel treatments her last few days there..
Well she is in rehab to see about walking again.. I am so very fortunate the facility is top quality & only 2 miles from home - bed was available. It could have been 40 miles!
Lots more going on but that will do for now.
My doggie trial is this Tuesday. A guilty verdict is very bad news so please pray that things will go in our favor. Jail, heavy fines & dogs taken or put down if guilty .. for an offense that did NOT occur.... someones word against mine. My case is a bit stronger than that but I have so little faith in the judicial system

I’ve been thinking of you and wondering where you’d been! Sorry about your Mom but am glad she is getting help that may be very good for her.
The hurricane was named Dolly and I thought that the many things you have to do all the time...a whirlwind, sorta like the hurricane! LOL~~
Many prayers for you Dolly for your upcoming trial. We’re on your side. Hope this thing can have a happy outcome for you! God Bless!
Niagara Falls is one of the most spectacular sights I have ever seen. The roar of 6 million cubic feet of water each minute makes it the most powerful waterfall in North America. Few people, however, know that more than 50 percent of the rivers water is diverted before it reaches those falls via four huge tunnels. This water passes through hydroelectric turbines that supply power to nearby areas in the US and Canada before returning to the river well past the Falls.
Some would love to have others think of their lives like Niagara Falls wild, spectacular, and loud. But power without control dissipates into useless energy. Moses thought he could use his royal power to bring about deliverance for Gods people from slavery. He misused his power by killing an Egyptian, which only dissipated his power because he lost the respect of his own people (Ex. 2:11-15). God had to teach him meekness (Num. 12:3).
The meek prosper because they are the ones who have power under control. Our Lord said, Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth (Matt. 5:5). You may be trying to live in this world by your own power. Let God teach you meekness so that you can live in, and depend on, His strength.
