Tom Cruise and Dr. Drew are feuding over Drew's views on Scientology.
Drew Pinsky asked in a Playboy interview why Cruise would be drawn to "a cultish kind of environment like Scientology."
He said it's a symptom of "a very deep emptiness and suggests serious neglect in childhood" and "maybe some abuse."
Cruise's lawyer shot back a response to what he called "this unqualified television performer." Bert Fields tells the New York Post that Pinsky is "so grotesquely unprofessional as to pretend to diagnose Tom and others without ever meeting them."
He said: "The last time we heard garbage like this was from Joseph Goebbels."
The Web site TMZ.com reported that Pinsky released a statement Thursday: "Dr. Drew meant no harm to Mr. Cruise and apologizes if his comments were hurtful."
Not a big fan of Dr. Drew, but he is a lighthouse compared to the candle flicker of Cruise's intelligence and gullibility.
He should have told litle Tom to prove him wrong if he feels so strong about what he said. Never happen, but it would be fun to watch.
Years ago, we were on a flt to Rome. Cruise and wife Mimi Rogers sat just across the aisle Row4 for the flight. Could not believe how tiny he is! Both were qite nice, quiet and low profile. Jim Belushi and girlfriend were in row behind. very entertaining and fun, the flight went by more quickly than usual. This wasn’t much after TOP GUN, probably well before the cult disease set in.
I would say that Cruise is obviously very childish, immature and not capable of analytical thought but that much is self evident, doesn't require the time of a psychologist and I don't want to get sued.
Right you are.
Proof is here:

Scientology is rotten through and through, but so is making an armchair diagnosis of someone you don’t know to create publicity for yourself.
I’m pretty sure it was Mimi that turned Cruise on to the cult. She got turned on to it by her previous husband.
Mimi was Incredibly beautiful Close up, coulda made me at least listen to the story on Scientology, at least over a drink and dinner hoping for.....Oh Well, lets not go there:-)
Shucks! I was just getting interested in the premature intercourse.
Cruise’s Scientology frontman: “Don’t call me a kook even though I do kooky things.” And “You can’t call me a kook because you never met me one on one.”
Shucks, Tom quarded the restroom door for Mimi during the flight, No 7 Mile high club there!
If Tom Cruise is such a great actor how come he can’t act “normal”?
Normal is jumping up and down on a couch on the stage of a popular TV host.
Who does this guy think he is? Tommy is the REAL expert on this.

so I’m guessing that as an “untrained” movie actor, Tom didn’t really have the qualifications to diagnose Brooke Shields.
First thing I thought of too. Put the shoe on the other foot and watch little Tommy throw a temper tantrum, he is really a messed up guy with delusions of grandeur, nothing more.
He can, but only for a few million dollars and there has to be a bunch of scenes edited together for the longer shots...

The last time we heard garbage like this was from Joseph Goebbels.I hear Goebbels didn't commit suicide in the bunker and is still around, writing movie scripts for Hollywood.
