Doggie and I had a Good Day; we had a Nice Walk this Evening, and she Again Chased the Resident Bunny, Lol, and when I Went Back into the House she Went Out in the Pasture to Play with the Neighbor's Cows. Some of them Like her, but Others Act Like she is a Monster, Lol.

Meg, Thank you So Much for your #1744; it's Adorable! I Hope More Rain Fell Later in the Day where you Live.

OESY, In the wooded area at the upper left hand in the picture is where I once spent the night in a tent. Husband’s band often played the NCO club at WP and they would let us pitch our tents in the woods and spend the night on the grounds. I’ll bet they wouldn’t do that now. Ah the good ole days.

Zebra Questions

I asked the zebra
are you black with white stripes?
or are you white with black stripes?
and the zebra asked me,
Is a sandwich bread with filling in it?
or filling with bread around it?
Is the sky blue with cloudy patches?
or is it cloudy with blue patches?
Is a witch mean with evil ways?
or is she evil with mean ways?
Is a friesian black with white patches?
or is it white with black patches?
Is a circle a ring with space in it?
or is it space with a ring around it?
Is a tiger brown with yellow stripes?
or is it yellow with brown stripes?
And on and on and on and on,
and on he went.
I'll never ask a zebra
about stripes
Again.

Mama said I'd lose my head
If it wasn't fastened on.
Today I guess it wasn't
'Cause while playing with my cousin
It fell off and rolled away
And now its gone.

And I can't look for it
'Cause my eyes are in it,

(Couldn't hear me anyway

Can't even think about it
'Cause my brain is in it.
So I guess I'll sit down
On this rock
And rest for just a minute....
