A Prayer in Spring

Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today; And give us not to think so far away As the uncertain harvest; keep us here All simply in the springing of the year. I am trying to guess the kind of tree also... maybe redbud or cherry? Not something we have out here, I think. Lovely scene, peaceful river:)

We do have jacaranda trees in full bloom. I can’t find pics to do justice to the experience of seeing them in 3-D.

The white blooming tree looks like a dogwood but I don’t recognize the pink blossoms.
