Yes, good old 50-50s... that’s what I thought of when Jaycee said “creamsicle.” Wow, I haven’t seen or eaten a 50-50 in a long time but I can taste it now!:)

Aw, you are welcome, Amy~ And thank you for the graphic of the barn swallows. (They ARE barn swallows, aren’t they?) LOL

Okay, I love creamsicles...the orange and white, right? The one I was talking about is a “snow-cream” ice cream. Did anyone’s mother ever make snow cream when you were a little one? She made it with clean snow, milk or cream, and sugar. It was delicious. Well, this dairy here makes a snow cream ice cream and it tastes just like what mama made us when we were little. I made it for my kids because my mom made it for us.
I asked my daughter in law once about it and she said her mama never made it and she was not familiar with it.
I guess thas where that old saying came from...”don’t eat yellow snow.” LOL~~~~

Marissa has one once in awhile but I’m not sure if they are 50-50’s or not. The little corner store carries a lot of off brands.

To live content with small means;
To seek elegance rather than luxury,
To be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not rich;
To study hard, think quietly, talk gently, act frankly;
To listen to stars and birds, to babes and sages, with an open heart;
To bear all cheerfully, do all bravely, await occasions, hurry never.
In a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious,
grow up through the commonplace.
This to be my symphony.
William Henry Channing (1810-1884)

Hmmmm .... we don’t get snow so that is probably why I never heard of “snow-cream” ice cream.
