Good morning!

2 primaries tomorrow.

Rev. Wright gave an astonishing, jaw-dropping speech before the NAACP last night. Will it be covered by the MSM? Is this the kind of speech we need to get beyond the race issue - Obama's first position during this campaign season, OR to confront honestly this country's racial history - Obama's second , post-Wright position, during this campaign season?

I understand the Rev. will be talking at the National Press Club this morning....covered probably by CSPAN.

Daily quiz:

Quote: “..All it was, was a bunch of rants that aren’t grounded in truth.”

The above is from

1) Obama on Rev Wright.
2) Anybody describing a liberal politician
3) all of the above

How old were you on your first trip to Europe and which country were you in at the tme?

Actually, it was just a few months before I turned 38. I had already learned to enjoy wine with my dinners, but this experience of bread and wine only was new. It was in France and Spain.

That's also when I learned to enjoy European wines. I mean, I'm a Californian, and we're famous for our wines; but it seemed to me that the American palate preferred heavier, more full-bodied wines -- suitable as stand-alone drinks. I found the European wines lighter -- complementing, not overpowering the food.

Jem - We’re attending PCA as well. We just love our church, and our pastor. He was an attorney who, later in life, went into the ministry, and he can expound on scripture like a great lawyer. I just love his sermons.

Good choice!

The music leaves something to be desired in my view, but that is inconsequential to all else.

My favorite part of the service is when the pastor lifts up his hands toward us and blesses us. I still feel goosebumps at that.

I know that we here at ATRW have our different “flavors” and interpretations but those doctrinal distinctives I mentioned above are basic. I’m glad that y’all have found a home, like I did, and that we have this in common.

However, I support any church which has those same doctrinal distinctives.

I think we've all been “had”.

Wright gets the jaw drop reaction from the polite society, but standing ovations from NAACP, etc.

So the Sen. trashes Wright and Obama gets back into polite society graces but now has his coveted “black side” with a wink and a nod to the Rev. His anti-Wright is just like his anti-free trade NAFTA talk. Something you just say to get votes.

This latest Chinese scandal has me wondering. I thought that if we were all raised in a socialist environment, that those greedy cave man tendencies would forever disappear.

Feels great but I think I overdid it yesterday, planted some Azales but had to dig them up first, transport them from the back to the fromt, not ready to reach this stage yet.
