Good morning.
Dem party wars continue...who'll win?
Can the winner be stopped come Nov?
Is Jimmy Carter still in the Mideast, or has he found his peaNUTTY way back to Georgia?
Post your opinions as strongly as you like but without those kind of retorts.
Morning lady, you all doing OK?

Hi PB - You have a great road trip. Are you on “tour?”
Yes indeedy- we serve a risen Savior. Hope of this old world.
My boss and I had a discussion yesterday - I discovered he is a full-on left-leaning-supporter of BHO. He believes all that stuff - hope for the future - hates Bush. War wrong - Bush just went into Iraq to avenge his daddies death threat.
Arghhhh! We’re still friends and I still have a job - only because I put a meter on my mouth.
Man oh man.........That’s got to be hard to live with, Bear.
Don’t you look at your boss in a different light now?
Thanks for the links, Molly.
How’s Mom?
How are you doing, sweetie?
The Wound Care nurse there is very impressed with the improvement. She continues to get 3 antibiotics by a pic line. That'll limit her PT apparently.
I had a long talk with the supervising nurse yesterday about hospice care, and other possible courses.
Remember, the drs are not very optimistic about the antibiotic treatment, but we'll see.
My mother has made certain clear choices about the care options she's willing to pursue.
I'm going to work out, then return here to do some computer stuff before going the see her.
Hope you have a good day, LB. How are the grandkids?
Don’t you just hate when you find out somebody is a flaming liberal? Aack, and your boss to boot, snarlin. No, we aren’t on tour, lol. Just going for a little change of scenery, a trip out in the RV and to pick up daughter when she flies in.
Molly, it sounds like your mom has her mind made up on certain issues and I’m hoping that the antibiotics will be effective and healing will continue.
Much to do today, will check back later.
I’ve suspected he had that side of him - he left bread crumbs to follow in his conversations.
I really like the guy, tho. He’s a whiz kid, and I do mean kid. He’s the age of my son. :( - not quite 40.
So, as he’s talking about JFK-like Obama, I’m wondering - how do you know what JFK was like? It was a totally different world then.
He was IM’ing me with PA voting predictions late last night :)
D was really looking forward to going into the final stage before adoption and I still think it is going to come to pass, I am believing this with all my hert.
After egg lying time for the birds I like to collect the bird nest, clean them up and spray them with laquer, makes great little items to put arond the hose.
Reckon I am a typical pub, can NOT understand how folks on the dimwitt side can be sucked into such far left wing ideas, beliefs, makes me believe that can not understand right from wrong.

That’s got to be tough, Snarly. I guess I was lucky. I also had a lib for a boss, but he was not the kind whose politics were a collection of inane slogans. We were able to discuss issues civilly and remain friends. I retired 13 years ago, he a few year later. We have not kept in touch, but I’m confident we could still be friends.
When I told him what I thought of BHO, he looked at me like I had fallen out of a tree. I did tell him I thought JMcCain would be the best candidate to protect us. He did not disagree. And I told him I thought McCain would not put up with the spend/spend/spend of congress. He agreed.
So it was a win/win or lose/lose depending on your view.
On the news show this morning, Dick Morris stated that PA is second only to Florida in the "oldest age" group. Florida because retirees move there, PA because the youth move out. I am from PA and I moved out at a relatively young age because I couldn't find employment makig the kind of money I wanted to make. This seems to be true, at least in my case.
On another note, I was on the phone last night with Dad. Dad is 83 and has never lived anywhere but PA. I wonder how he would react to your statement that PA is far more prejudiced than we realize.
I never saw it in my family although I later found out that Dad has his prejudices. But he was in far too many houses owned by blacks who had made them warm, comfortable clean places to live for their strictly brought up children to lump all blacks together in Norristown, PA. While I didn't grow up partying with or visiting many black acquaintances, I did grow up being taught to repect the person for who they were, regardless of the color of their skin.
Just one Pennsylvanians thoughts on being brought up in PA.
But I asked Dad who he was voting for last night. He has always been a registered Republican, but voted for the person in some county elections if he thought the Dem was the better candidate. He is also a WWII Veteran and a former POW. So I was interested in his thoughts on McCain.
I am going to send him your thoughts today. BTW, he never did answer me, but I believe he is voting for McCain in November because he hated the Clintons, and I don't think he thinks much of Barry.
I play a lot doing this type of thing. I’m lucky, Roomey puts up with it.
