Hi...we had your Iowa weather here until early this a.m. I actually had snow on the ground yesterday morning. algore’s global warming hasn’t reached the beautiful N OR coast as yet. Still in the low 40’s, have a fire going in the wood stove and my yard needs attention!!!! Hopefully, spring will show up soon.

They told you Reagan was dumb. He was 5 points from being a Genius. They tell you George W. Bush is dumb He has an I.Q of 129.

I’m still home in Texas. Thursday we’re flying to Harrisburg and then driving to Ft Indiantown Gap for a meeting. We’ll be in the area until Monday AM and then back here to central Texas.
Oh WOW 13 sets. Oh my stars the green and pink depression glass. How beautiful your table must look. One year I did the dining room all in white, even hung white balls that I sprayed and dipped in white sparkles on white ribbons from the chandelier. The table cloth was white damask overlayed with white tulle and the chargers were clear that I had slightly sprayed snow onto the underside with white dinner plates and clear salad plates resting on top. The center of the table was done with white branches and white daisies and carnations with bits of green that had been sprayed with glue and dipped in white sparkles. For dessert I sprayed the underside of clear cake saucers red, for an Italian cream cake and had some red coffee cups and saucers. It was fun. No I was never Queen for a Day, my Mom fell in love with the sets and each of us girls got a set.
That must have been simply beautiful. What great decorating ideas!

Yes, lunch is past. I just munched on some junk I found around the house. It wasn’t bad but nothing to get excited over either.
I did remember the chicken which was baking last night when the gas ran out.
That will be tossed and we’ll have some local food for supper tonight.

Ole Hill-ORee pulled it off didn't she, beat the fellow who WILL NOT wear an American flag pin on his coat. This sends a message to all of US, regardless of what we think of McCain we HAVE GOT to GET behind him 100%.
As you all know, My rooster Bill died recently and was replaced by another rooster. WE have decided to name THIS rooster ‘BILL’ as well as believe me, he shows his ‘eagerness’ with the girls for sure, nore s that old bill did.
D advised that she is going to clean my ‘Shack in the back’ this weed so I can be ‘removed’ from the big house, she says that I am getting to be a pain in the ‘back side of the hem's body’, if you get my drift. I am ready for sure, kinda, must admit I am getting use to the big house.
Off to fix me a bowl of grits so I can meet the sunrise with a big ole smile. All have a safe and happy day.
