Have you heard of sterling silver bandages? Just heard about them yesterday. Evidently, infections can’t get past them, and they’re sold in local drug stores.

The very first time I cut back (energy-wise) was when I was widowed..living with my son..after purchasing our first home in 1975. Nobody made me do it. I did it NOT to save the Earth...Not because I was told, but because if I didn't turn back the thermostat or use more fluorescent bulbs there would be no $$ for food.
I wish those greenies would give it a rest!

I have quite a few cracked pitchers and strange bowls, that make beautiful pieces for flower arranging, which I love to do. And being a crackpot, I have wonderful crackpot friends. They are the most interesting and fun to be with.

Just received a call from my cousin. Her sister, also my cousin, has a son who was injured in Irag a few days ago when his humvee ran over an IED. He's got burns over 80 % of his body. They are airlifting him to Texas. Prayers for his recovery, please. He just married in September before he went off to war.
