wow this is a fun thread.

I was supposed to be at pub watching the pistons/celtics but allergies, fatigue & just plain getting old I guess have put a halt to those plans.

will just sleep tonight.

Part of my reason for NOT watching is that I KNOW I would like it & be hooked.. I truly hate when that happens.

I watch little (NO) TV. other than sports & that is usally at sports bar.

Last TV was 24.. & before that Dallas.. so no TV means no TV.

No news, no oprah, no nada

I will bookmark this & keep up.

I think you're right. David Cook was the clear leader up until this week. Maybe he doesn't want to win?? I got a couple goose bumps this week.....compared to tons the previous weeks.... lol. I have a bad feeling Archeleto is going to win.

Must be me. I can’t see where Monchichi has must long term commercial appeal. Cook will be a star. Archuleta will be a blip.

Song 1: Loved it. It was kind of limiting, though - suffers from the 'soundalike' trap.
Song 2: Overall it was just awwwight. Very 80's bubblegum pop rock - exactly the kind of tripe 19Records forced on Bo Bice.
Song 3: Loved it. Loved it so much I ran it back to listen again.

Monchichi

Song 1: Bigger than usual. Still boring.
Song 2: ZZZZZZZzzzzzzzz. Solid performance, but I'd never buy that album.
Song 3: Imagine's so insipid. Perfect choice.

Bottom line: Give David Cook the prize. Give Monchichi a job at Disney until he's old enough for Las Vegas. Monchichi's Furlies will take him the distance, however. (Just think - they're gonna vote for reals someday...gosh!) he'll win.

This is the same cutesy kid we saw 10 weeks ago. There's been no progression. But the judges will love it.
