Holy Cow! Weber has done a great job with Carly. She sounds great tonight! That's because he selected her song for her. 'Superstar' is a great rock anthem and makes even just competent singers sound good.

You’re in the minority who doesn’t see Cook’s arrogance, my vision is impeccable. I was trying to ignore his attitude because he IS good, but the give back just went a weeee bit too far for my tastes. If you’re fine with that good for you, I’m entitled to not like it. It doesn’t make you right.

Carly Smithson
Weber urges Carly to pick a song from Jesus Christ Superstar.
Weber: You've got to choose a song that suits you, that you can inhabit. I think the Irish eyes have it.
Finally--an upbeat song! Carly looks and sounds great. One of the best tonight.
She gets a well-deserved standing-O! Even Paula is standing and applauding.
Randy: Bigger voices are doing great tonight. Definitely good.
Paula: So unexpected. Loved what you did in the chorus.
Simon: Other than it got a little bit shouty in the middle, it was actually one of my favorite performances of the night.

I thought it was shouty and she was singing wrong lyrics...and then it's all about her with the tee-shirt. I think the judges have their faves and they are not mine. I'm just mad because they didn't like Brooke and Dreads.

Simon loved me and all I got was this lousy tee shirt.
To: Miss Didi
She did shout thru the whole song. Maybe that’s why I’ve begun to appreciate the understated Jason. I can’t stand the Whitney Houston shouting and shrieking style.
To: Lijahsbubbe
It’s ironic that we are judging people for their “Top Twenty” sound from live performances when most “Top Twenty” artists sound like crap unless the mixers and studio magicians have worked on their voice and sound.
To: Jedidah
Thanks for posting that article. I had read a few others stating he was a man of faith.

Do you need a hug?
I think you need a hug.
Paula will give you a hug.

I’ve said nothing about his attitude, which actually I agree he has a bit on one. Don’t change the subject, you have been claiming that he has not given credit to the songs he has sung , and for a fact he has.

I’ve often thought that when the guest stars sing on AI, that if they were competing, they’d never make it.
