True! I am happy for him and his wife, but when I saw the ring on his left third finger as he sang Tuesday night, I was surprised.

I heard that she was wearing a PLA scarf (black/white check with fringe) around her neck this morning! She should have been booted off for her wardrobe choices, if for no other reason.

She was just showing off at the end.

I had to watch it again, but what I noticed was not only did Syesha hold the note a long time, but her voice didn't crack, the note NEVER went off pitch or wavered in any way.

I think she was trying to show us her voice clarity...and she does have that.

Syesha is next to go after Kristy Lee, barring a major disaster from someone else. She’s not bad, mind you, just not “different” from all the other wanna-be divas already out there, many of whom are more talented.

March 31st marked 4 years since my father's passing. Much more difficult than I thought it would be.

April 4th will be 14 years since my dad's been gone. It seems so much shorter than that.

You could tell how proud Claudette was of Elliott. I took my girls to the Idol concert for season 5. She came in during intermission for the 2nd half when Elliott was going to sing. The whole arena went wild! They put a spot light on her and she waved at the crowd as she made her way to her seat (she was walking with a cane, and was frail even then). She was definitely a favorite. Prayers for their family...things are going to be tough on Elliott for a long while.

The Bubby Wahwah on living to 150 yrs. of age was so ridiculous. Reminds me of the old song “It Ain’t Necessarily So”...”Methuselah lived 900 years...but who calls that livin’ when no gal will give in to no man who’s 900 years...”
