We also celebrated Quilting Day, Eagle Festival (Maryland)and Ides Of March.

Jaycee, I have a Nest Similiar to the One in your Cute Pic on my Back Porch; a Few Years Ago, Barn Swallows Raised Families in it 2 Years in a Row, and then Phoebes Used it Last Year. But the Nest has Partially Collapsed over this Winter, so I'll have to Wait and See if the Birds Rebuild it and Use it this Year. (I Hope they Do!)

I found it on the net and it said it was a cliff swallow but they build the same way. Its a pretty bird, isn’t it? Hope the sun is shining for you today!

Mornin’ everyone! Beautiful here after some clouds this am. Windy now but the sun has come out.
I’m enjoying what will probably be my last day off for the next couple of months. Trying to catch up on some cleaning—blech! Somebody—maybe on this thread?—said they were allergic to housework—I heartily concur! There are jsut so many other things to do, and it’s so useless! The kids are coming over tonite and bringing the gbaby. Haven’t seen him in a week. :( He’s growing so fast, if you blink he changes or learns something new!

Choc carmel day is good by me—but then i think every day should be choc day! And laugh day—that’s good! I laugh a lot, and it’s not very quiet!

The pieces/ graphics about the swallows are great! We have swallows here but they don’t usually nest where we can see them. I hear them out over the marsh, chirping as they do low flyby’s over the water and catch insects. I have seen them nest under bridges, different times when we’ve been out in the boat.
