How utterly sweet, Kitty. The Red Hat will be used in my Red Hat Club emails. I love the sweet kitty in "my red hat".

Thank you, Dear FRiend; you have Brightened my Day! : ) : )

I never”catch up”.Thank you, jaycee..I love butterfly pictures.
I took a cue from you and went out and pruned the other Nandina hedge..I left just enough foliage to keep it from looking totally barren..but most of it is cut down severely. Glad it’s done..I am anxious to see if new growth comes forth as I really did a severe pruning on the other side..It looks almost barren..

Last year I waited too late to prume and had to carefully trim it all summer to keep from cutting off the blooms and then the berries..Of course I cut off quite a few while trying to keep it neat..

I was getting ready to send a graphic and the computer froze up! These machines sure are stubborn little machines at times. Maybe I can finish this one.

This morning when I first posted it was warm and 63 and about ten minutes later it was raining and the temp. is down to 56. We were talking about fickle weather...this proves a point! Your Nandina will probably do just fine since its early March. Of course you have an earlier spring than we do here. I have one that needs trimming also. Don't know when it'll get done. A butterfly for you!

I’ll bet you enjoy your job.

When I go to a garden shop, I want to buy some of everything. :)

I received the Jackson Perkins catalog yesterday. I spent a good portion of the afternoon drooling.

I Awoke this Morning on my Shepherd-King's Ranch to a Beautiful Winter Wonderland of Snow, and I Thought there wasn't Going to be Any this Season! It's Melting Pretty fast, but still So Lovely. What a Rare Treat this is!

I Love this Pic of a Sgt. Hugging a Little Girl Rescued in the Katrina Disaster:

I love my job, and my gardening catalogues are well drooled on. My own yard isn’t much, mostly due to not having time, and a great deal due to my #2 son who prunes with the lawnmower! LOL

The salad was great—wish I could share!

I love that little poem—kind of nursery-rhymish—maybe that’s why I can remember it! LOL

The Whiffenpoof Song
(a tavern melody)

To the tables down at Mory’s
To the place where Louis dwells
To the dear old Temple Bar we love so well
Sing the Whiffenpoofs assembled
With their glasses raised on high
And the magic of their singing casts its spell

Yes, the magic of their singing
Of the songs we love so well
“Shall I Wasting,” and “Mavourneen,” and the rest
We will serenade our Louis while life and voice shall last
Then we’ll pass and be forgotten with the rest

We’re poor little lambs who have lost our way
Baa! Baa! Baa!
We’re little black sheep who have gone astray
Baa! Baa! Baa!

Gentleman songsters off on a spree
Damned from here to eternity
God have mercy on such as we
Baa! Baa! Baa!

That is a precious picture, Kitty Mittens.

I need to go look for some size 8 dresses ..... for me? I wish.

Marissa is tired of wearing pants to school. :)

I’ll be back soon.

I’ll be back soon .... every day Marissa is asking if she can wear a dress. I need to get her a couple of new dresses.

Someone, please remind me that hair is not important. She wants to do her own hair. We are not in agreement on what looks good!!!
