Saturn's smoggy moon Titan has hundreds of times more natural gas and other liquid hydrocarbons than all the known oil and natural gas reserves on Earth, scientists said today....

Finally we can put to death the myth that oil is from dead plants and animals...or is someone going to claim that Titan was once a tropical jungle?

Yeah, but it’s gonna take one heck of a pipeline to get it here.

No drilling on Titan... it must be kept “pristine”. ;-)

Titan Has More Oil Than Earth No wonder the NFL franchise in Tennessee was initially called the Oilers before changing the name to the Titans.

That’s funny; for years the evolutionists here on FR and elsewhere have been claiming that being able to figure out where oil will be found counts as a “prediction” and/or useful discovery by evolution. I guess this means there were dinosaurs on Titan, huh? (Quick, someone find an old sci-fi movie to fit!)

Dinosaurs are Titans.
:>)
Many have asked what became of those dinosaurs during Noah’s flood. It now appears that “Chariots of the Gods” carried them all to Titan prior to the great flood.
Once there, they turned to oil and other neat hydrocarbons.

Someone call Halliburton.
Now they can control the solar system as well.

Don't bury it prematurely.
From the article:
At minus 179 degrees Celsius (minus 290 degrees Fahrenheit), Titan would be an awful place to live. Instead of water, liquid hydrocarbons in the form of methane and ethane are present on the moon's surface, and tholins probably make up its dunes. The term "tholins" was coined by Carl Sagan in 1979 to describe the complex organic molecules at the heart of prebiotic chemistry.
Methane (CH4) and Ethane (C2H6) are only the most basic of hydrocarbons. They are a far cry from what is commonly known as "oil", and are only liquid because of the extreme cold there.
Every oil field on Earth has been traced to an organic source.

Ethane and methane are not oil. Neither is a component of gasoline or diesel. Completely misleading/false title by the author.

That’s alright. This election cycle the candidates have more gas than brains.

Thats alright. This election cycle the candidates have more gas than brains. At almost 50, I don't have to wait for an election cycle.
