The "deathbed confession" audio tape in which former CIA agent E. Howard Hunt admits he was approached to be part of a CIA assassination team to kill JFK was aired this weekend - an astounding development that has gone completely ignored by the establishment media. E. Howard Hunt names numerous individuals with both direct and indirect CIA connections as having played a role in the assassination of Kennedy, while describing himself as a "bench warmer" in the plot. Hunt alleges on the tape that then Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was involved in the planning of the assassination and in the cover-up, stating that LBJ, "Had an almost maniacal urge to become president, he regarded JFK as an obstacle to achieving that"...
meese 8 my choose
Interesting......
Was JFK told to have LBJ as his running mate or did he freely choose him?
Delusional.
IBTZ
My dad (bless his soul) suspected LBJ too.
Lots of morphine in the last days?
the problem is that LHOswald beat them to it
I believe Oliver Stone, it was a coup, with LBJ having a big role.
After all, it was you and me...
Nope.
Ain't believing any of this here info until I hear it from Sherlock Holmes hisself.
JFK was told to take on Johnson as VP so that it would be assured he would win the Southern vote. This move obviously worked.
Jimmy James killed Kennedy. I heard his confession.
This development broke earlier this year but I noticed most of the mainstream press did not go anywhere near it as they still routinely prop up the “official” account of the lone gun man & the “magic” bullet. The ABC network not too long ago did an entire special on how Oswald was “solely” responsible for the assassination plot.
I read an interesting theory that, though they probably hated each other, Kennedy chose LBJ as a convention maneuver, expecting that he would turn the job down, and LBJ accepted, expecting that Kennedy would lose and LBJ would be reelected to the Senate (The Texas legislature passed a special law permitting him to run for both offices in the 1960 election). At that time, Texas ballots were cast by scratching out the unwanted candidate’s name. There was a slogan “Don’t be half safe: Scratch Lyndon twice.
JFK offered LBJ the vice-presidency with the belief there was no way he would give up the tremendous power he had to become the holder of an office known as a bucket of warm spit. He miscalculated.
Prolly just a political necessity, JFK needed the South. Though back then it was solidly Dem, the South had been gettin’ frisky. LBJ’s influence within the party was substantial as well.
