Can you believe it’s nearly 7 PM here, and the temperature is 71 degrees? This is unusual for this time of year, but I don’t believe it’s global warming! Hope you get warm!
To: PeskyOne
Well, it’s about 30 here in Upstate NY. So enjoy!!

I just read that at The Nassau Guardian. I can’t believe that they didn’t check to see if Howard was gone from approximately 2-4 am. They don’t seem to be very good at investigating.

That statement seems to be out of context....like, I didn't check it...someone else did.
Anyways, I went to google news and plugged in Bahamas. The inquest will resume on January 28th.
They're trying to get Larry and Kapoor to testify. Is there any chance that Kapoor could get arrested if he arrived on Bahama soil? And why hasn't Howard been arrested for possession of Methadone?
And why aren't they requesting KE to testify?

I wish they'd stop with the "Police have said there is no evidence of Homicide".
So, there were no bullet holes or dents on his head from a lamp base. Duh..
This is an unusual overdose case. We have a kid overdosing on a drug which is illegal in the Bahamas....but he wasn't a druggie.
And we have a druggie overdosing on an obsolete drug which is no longer tested during an autopsy and which cannot be overcome by the drugs given to counter an overdose.

I was wondering the same thing. I don’t understand how they can hold an inquest and not call KE...she is key to his death and Anna’s IMO. I'm beginning to wonder if there is any justice to be had in the Caribbeans! ANS, with aid and abetting by HKS, really badmouthed her mother and accused her of all sorts of things, when she is/was guilty of what she accused Virgie of. Virgie sent her to live with a sister because she was out of control, and according to Anna, 'Daniel was kicked out of the home for speaking disrespectful to her.' Did she make sure he had a safe place to live - or was he abandoned? I certainly think children should be respectful of their parents, but I also think parents should behave responsibly toward their children and not bring shame upon them! If my mother had acted like AN, I would have been mortified. I believe HKS encouraged her to behave like a "floozy"....that's as nice a name as I can come up with! I don't understand why HKS and KE haven't been arrested and held until they prove they didn't supply the drugs that killed Daniel and Anna. Presently, they are the two people who we know supplied Anna with drugs, and I bet Daniel was given some of the drugs prescribed to HKS that were for Anna!

Why were there any pills at all in Howard's bed? Is it one of those "overlook the obvious".
I believe pills can be batch tested. If the pills in Howard's match any that were found (or supposedly found) in Danny's possession, then we're unto something.
It seems no one is doing CSI work on the surroundings...testing the glasses, the food plates etc and they're concentrated on "when did he take them" not where did they come from.
They took blood from Anna at 5:30 am. Hope they saved it because I think Howard gave her something to make sure she stayed asleep.

I'm not sure up and around at 6:30 is correct. I believe he was observed sleeping near his mother and the nurse said it was unusual.
These reporters play games. They merge old stuff with new stuff. Be careful. Look for direct quotes.

No evidence of homicide? The drugs did not just float into Daniel’s body.
To: Lizarde
Have you read the latest gossip about Larry and the most fascinating people of 2007?
http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2007/12/11/2007-12-11_birkhead_more_2020_than_top_10_.html
The above is a story about his excuse for not being one of the most fascinating people of this year.
IMO.

When they refer to "no evidence of homicide", I believe they are referring to bruises from a beating, being hit with a fire poker, and bullet holes. It's totally visual.
I remember when my brother in law drowned. He was flown home and the police chief, who was a friend of the family, personally, visually examined the body.

If you're a citizen of the United States, you cannot be compelled to attend the inquest. It's a flaw in the system but that's the way it is.
What's interesting is that Larry made a request to be put on the inquest list and it now looks like he will cop out. However, his testimony would be worthless anyways. He simply was not present or privy to recent info on Anna and/or Daniel...except what was in the press.

"Surveillance camera" from Lizarde's post #4,097 "had no recordings of Stern leaving and returning to the hospital at the time the nurse claimed" .... "A discrepancy that Wayne Munroe, the attorney for Stern and the late Anna Nicole Smith's estate, was quick to point out."
Maybe detective Frederick Taylor didn't check the video footage, but I would bet a large sum of money that somebody did. And altered it.

OMG! On another board on an old thread, someone called Howard Dr. Howie FrankinStern! rofl
That's cute!
Ok, I was trying to check out the dates that Daniel reportedly got sick and went to the hospital and compare that to when he talked to the P.I. Harding. It's all about the same time but I haven't been able to pinpoint dates yet.
Anybody know?
What I'm speculating on is that maybe Howard visited Daniel before both onsets of illnesses and maybe had a hand in it. Maybe that's what sent Daniel to the P.I.
"According to Daniel’s medical records obtained by Bahamian police, Smith entered the intensive care unit of a California hospital in July of 2006, when he was treated for an “impaired mental status” that cited “the misuse of valium,” a powerful tranquilizer often prescribed for anxiety, as a factor.'"
I'm wondering if Daniel ended up in the hospital after a visit from Howie and once the doctors found out there was a problem with "misuse of valium" if Daniel didn't put two and two together and realize that Howie was doping him?
These are my own opinions and speculations except for the quote. *Always have to cover for sue happy people.*

Thanks! I wondered where it came from. I don’t go to artharris’s site usually. Hmmm, thinking of his site makes me want to go run my antivirus and anti spyware programs.
