Hey Rte.. JAMA report on TV today.. Dark chocolate is proven to help lower blood pressure. All it takes it the size of one of those little DOVE squares a day! Has to be dark chocolate.
If I don’t show up tomorrow, I might have landed on the floor from low blood pressure. :D
Wanted to say thanks for the tip on the 1/2 and 1/2 for the BP pills. They’re not scored and I don’t have a pill-cutter, but they split in half really easily.
So, that’s what I’ve done for the past two days and it *seems* to be making a nice difference. I was able to get some things done today, yea! Thanks again.

I have agreed with you, even if the only place methadone was detected was in the bile. If it stays around for weeks in the system though, who knows? Maybe that’s why HKS thought all was clear. Maybe the reduction of the methadone is what caused them to over-medicate her with downers.
Here is a list of drugs Perper reports in her peripheral blood:
topamax (both an anti-convulsant and used for people with bipolar d/o), meprobamate (anti-anxiety used for sleep, KE must have found this at the bottom of her medicine bag; no one uses this anymore, except Cubans stuck in Cuba), Robaxin (for muscle spasms, makes you sleepy), Klonopin (anti-anxiety, makes you sleepy unless you have tolerance), Valium (makes you sleepy unless you have tolerance), Ativan (same as previous two), Cipro. TCE, TCA.
Perper goes into a long discussion about the difference between a fatal overdose from repeated doses over a couple of days and overdose from acute ingestion. He reasons that she died from repeated doses over a couple of days, thus not a suicide and insurance money can be collected. And maybe boys and girls that was the whole point?
“She took another dose of chloral hydrate and asked for Soma, Klonopin, Valium, Topamax (unknown if she took these medicines).”
When did Anna ever ask for her pills by specific names?
She sounds like she was so out of it that it would have been difficult to ask for the word “pills”, let alone those 4. Is Perper being very explicit rather than saying, “She asked for her downers.”
Also, I noticed on the autopsy that her tongue was bitten or showed a puncture at the tip. Did she have a seizure? Did she refuse to take medication? Was she injected in her tongue with some other drug that is not detectable upon autopsy?
Perper reasons that though she died from CH overdose, “there was no oral trauma to suggest force feeding...” How about a bite at the tip of the tongue?
Perper reasons that “CH has an unpleasant, harsh taste which would be easily detectable if it was “slipped” into a drink...” How about if you were so stoned that you neither were conscious of taste nor smell? Like Anna who was highly and suspiciously overmedicated with every downer KE could think of throwing into her!
Perper answers this next: “...However, given the evidence produced by the parallel police and medical examiner investigations this would represent mere speculation and does not hold up under scientific scrutiny...” !!!
OK gals, who wants to take apart that last sentence?
i would imagine that ethics would demand a coversheet, with a disclaimer along the lines of, if you received this in error, call immediately, this is confidential kinda stuff for addressee’s eyes only

you’re forgetting - it was HKS that told Perper about the injection on Feb 2 - it was KE who told perper that Anna had a high fever and was given an ice bath [in the bahamas], allowing her to fly to Florida.

i don’t understand why one would take issue with that...many mothers return to work when the baby is 3 months old or younger.
to me the issue was not, that she ‘went to work’, but that she was looking drugged and battered - a sharp contrast to her appearance in Dec at Calif court.
at the time, the focus was not on a ‘suspicious’ death, but an accidental death. Moe and Taz clouded the issue by not telling the whole truth to begin with.
Perper didn’t believe the suicidal story - we know it was talked about because he debunked the subject at length in his report, pretty much listing out things he had been told (by KE or HKS or both) and reasons he wasn’t buying it.
curiouser to me, was LB’s testimony that Anna was on ‘suicide watch’ when he claims she was supposedly being ‘detoxed’
Like I said...The Tami flu prescription was a red herring and I believe it was found right by her bedside.
What were the differences between this trip and the fatal trip...No photos of Anna, no access to her room except to "friends".....and lotsa ice!!
I'd go through the surveillance tapes again and again until I spotted "What's wrong with this picture?"
I thought Anna had a straw fetish. Were there any straws found in the hotel room on the day she died? Who was emptying the rubbish during their stay? What happened to her damn clothes? Why didn't either Brigitte, Taz or Moe react to the stench from the vomit and feces in the bed?
The story that the ice bath was Grandma's old recipe has been blown out of the water by Taz's statement that she told Moe..."NO ICE BATH" and he yelled it out to Howard and KE.
The very fact that he asked Taz...says he didn't agree with what was going on.
He must have been going nuts watching and wondering what to do. He simply had no authority and I'd say he "froze" just like when they discovered her DEAD!
What could he do...call the cops and say they were trying to kill Anna? Howard would have him in court AND JAIL in the blink of an eye...(Just like Hatten).
Suicide is an item stipulated in insurance policies. They didn’t want a suicide call!!

(if LB was a woman, there would be a very specific adjective for tht type of behavior) A guy she liked so much, that she felt part of his family who welcomed her. - LB says he got her pregnant - he was certain - he knew when he touched her skin - all that sob story stuff - but, she had a miscarriage of GBen’s baby,(falling off a ladder) but she was still somehow pregnant from NYE?

We don’t know that. was he? or was he just a boody-call (to put it politely) or a stalker? seems to me, that Anna thought GBen was her boyfriend for the prior 6 months, along with a bodyguard or two, and planned to have GBen’s kid, not larrys...also seems to me that by NYE 05 anna was backstage with a magician. So from, what, Sep 04 to Dec 31 04 - then Feb to maybe May/June (was with magician for most of Jan) (didn’t lb claim he got an apt in Feb 04?) - then she moves on? and he’s still sniffing around and runs right over the same day she returns? nasty!

I think there’s a lot wrong with taking a stance that any man who knocks up a single woman, is, from that moment ‘in charge’ of that woman’s life....women have fought for over 100 years for control of their own destinies and bodies. If Anna had aborted, there wasn’t a dam thing LB could have done about it. Her decision, not his.
If your daughter breaks up with her boyfriend, and finds out she’s pregnant, and doesn’t want anything to do with said dumped boyfriend, does that boyfriend have the RIGHT to demand information from her doctor? or demand to go to all doctor appointments? or demand to move into her apartment and dictate what she eats or drinks? sorry, the answer is no - not in my world.

seems to me, from LB’s testimony, that she did refuse - they argued several times in the hospital, at least once resulting in her throwing him out for him to say, she called and said where did you go? She wrote two emails to to separate people saying he didn’t ‘care’ and was not a nice person and treated her badly. She continued to refuse him, by moving to the bahamas!

she and her son died, because she refused to allow LB into her life and imo was trying to break ties with HKS? that’s ‘good as she gave’?????
maybe she was no longer a user of methadone? maybe the methadone was something slipped into her pill cup, as I’ve discussed before?
