Still a bit woozy... So sad that your son had to witness such a thing.
Unfortunately it's a part of life, and we can walk away with so many lessons. There was talk on one of the threads to bannish air shows. Rubbish....
We take risks getting in the car everyday. Doesn't mean we ought to ban cars.

I bought 2 tons of rock today. At the store I went out their back door and encountered two baby racoons who have taken up residence at the garden place. They don't really like people to get too close and this guy certainly tried to make sure I was in danger.
He was only about 10 inches long from stem to stern. But he hissed at me as if he were much bigger!
Animals do seem to have no fear in discussing things with me. This is one of the horses that my youngest works with.

ah, we did a little “selective” cropping there missy! heehhee.
actually that looks like it could be me Jemian.. hair length , color.. I just did mine a reddish over the weekend. it washes out in about 5 shampoos (and that is PERMANENT haircolor).. ha. Permanent if you never wash your hair.

Yes, she is very reluctant. We have gone through this before but she only has one year to go and we are not going to change jobs just to suit her for one year. We’ve discussed it before. She is reluctantly accepting this and we have gone out of our way to accomodate her, i.e. none of the other kids returned to the US prior to their senior years. We also did discuss leaving the field in ‘04 but she changed her mind the last six months there. Then for the first year in the US she wanted desparately to return and now she wants to stay. Oy vay! She is challenging at times. (Not that she challenges our authority; she is challenging to figure out what is the best decisions to make in her interest and in the interest of the family overall.)
It wasn’t cropping, it was bad photography. The hair is appears lighter than it actually is. The light color is really gray that didn’t get covered well.
The racoons are wee small little things. Very, very cute. There were two of them. But I couldn’t get both in a picture. We think the mom has died and those two babies won’t do well either if they’re not careful. The garden place is on a very busy intersection.
I did suggest that perhaps as the kits grow, the garden shop might want to get them vacinated against rabies. That is a concern here. Anyway, they were very cute and not really afraid of humans at all.

you can give the vaccine for rabies in food. we had it done here.. seeded the ENTIRE national park due to rabies problem potential.
so there is the product available.
Let’s NOT talk about grey hair (please).. color is fun & covers SO much.. ha.
my cut is interesting. I want is smooth but my naturally curly hair just does it’s own things. this is my hair just washed & air dried.
Okay, I just left chat & now must feed mom, the pets & find a heating pad.. (oh my aching (OLD) back)... with grey hair on my head
