We need that inquest. It's almost a year for cripes sakes and we still don't know why a non druggie was saturated with drugs.....Drugs that were ordered 2 weeks before Danny died.
And just a reminder...KE was one of the last people to see Danny in California before he left for the Bahamas. Betcha she gave him some "Tums" for his tummy ache...aka...Dose No. 1.

You just earned your sgt. stripes, PO:) You’ll notice we only have about one platoon doing sentry duty - there is however a whole battalion on the perimeter. When something breaks, they’ll let us know.

It sure changed everyone's opinion and made us take another look at the series of events...including all those reports that were being put out that Howard and Larry were engaged in colusion.
Pretty hard to dismiss "colusion" particularly since it was when the "hits" on Opri by Larry began.
Just saw Greta on O'Reilly saying she is behind Howard Stern 100%. I think it refers to the case with Dr. Johnson (I missed the first part). As if Howard Stern cared. He just wants in on the money. O'Reilly thought it was legal.
I could be wrong but I would not be shocked if Anna Nicole actually gave permission in exchange for a free operation. Video taping and selling those videos is not that unusual. Like the guy in Indiana who had men volunteer to have their sex organ removed and then he sold these videos. I accidentally happen on a website where it discussed that there is an active market for those videos.
The Horizons situation is also disgraceful. Even tho we can chalk it up to corruption in The Bahamas, it still “rewards” people like Howie who blackmail and extort others to get what they want.
I wish Ben Thompson and Ford’s “crew” had more clout and could do something about it, but I don’t know how you fight people who are always on the down-low like HKS is.
So, Greta is on the “dead St. Anna” bandwagon, too? I wish I knew whether she had actually researched the law on this or not.
Dr Johnson’s atty gave a rebuttal in an audio report on our local news, saying what another poster said above - that the contract ANS signed was for “her lifetime” and it expired when she did.
Last week I was reading a blog on one of the gossip threads, and there were people posting who thought HKS was simply wonderful and entitled to everything. I can't imagine where these people came from or what they know about 'right and wrong'!
I don’t know - but I think most of the “outrage” is at the way the video was packaged, with theme music and such. Of course, it’s “what Anna would have wanted” if she had been around for it, but it is tasteless, nonetheless.
What am I saying? I haven’t seen it, so here I am siding with Howie, accidentally. See how that happens? He plays on the sense and sensibilities of normal people like most of us who would agree it’s awful to show nekkid pix of a surgery, when the subject is someone now dead, who can’t object.
Those people most likely were Howard Stern himself, his family, people paid to do it, or the mentally challenged. How could any normal person find him to be Mr. Wonderful?
I recall in the mid nineties there was a scandal of a plastic surgeon exhibiting patients such as Elizabeth Taylor and Joan Rivers being exhibited and fondled while they were sedated for their operation. The surgeon denied it but there was a lot of flak about it.
If that were true, that definitely would be disgusting, but the thing about ANS is that she flaunted her bazooms for all the world to see, anytime she felt like it - those ladies didn’t do things like that - so it’s a little different.
I think the doc also had her voiceover of “do you like my bawwwddeee?” on it.

Lest we forget, Howie videotaped Anna’s c-section. How he was allowed to do so - when he was not ‘family’ boggles the mind. Of course, it was in the Bahamian Hospital.
We are seeing more and more surgical videos - with viewer caveats - they are intended to be educational and clinical. Mostly Discovery Health channel shows. Certainly not Howie’s Shop of Horror exploitation trash. Wonder if he took pics of Anna’s ice-bath? The police should have seized his cameras immediately following Daniel’s and Anna’s deaths - but of course we know they didn’t.

Six Months After Anna Nicole’s Death, Stern Says Bahamas Is Home

If her 20-year-old son Daniel Wayne Smith were alive, Howard K. Stern says there is no doubt that the late Anna Nicole Smith would be alive today.

Mr. Stern, who was Ms. Smith’s lawyer, and later her lover, is staying in the million-dollar Eastern Road mansion the two shared before the model/actress died in February, and says he will not leave Ms. Smith and her son Daniel here alone.
Daniel Smith died in September 2006, just three days after his little sister Dannielynn was born to Ms. Smith at Doctors Hospital. He was buried at Lakeview Memorial Cemetery.
Speaking exclusively with the Journal from the waterfront mansion, known as ‘Horizons,’ Mr. Stern ruminated on what effect Daniel’s death had on Ms. Smith.
“That changed life forever,” Mr. Stern said.
“Daniel was Anna Nicole’s reason for living. Daniel was more than her son. She had Daniel when she was very young and he was literally her whole life. She used to say that he was her whole reason for living, and he was the difference between her and Marilyn Munroe,” he said.
“So when Daniel passed away, it changed everything.”
Mr. Stern said it would be an understatement to say that Daniel was “a huge part of my life or Anna Nicole’s life.”
“She overcame everything in her life. She’s had a lot of different battles in the past, but I truly believe that losing her son was the one thing that she couldn’t overcome. She had nightmares literally all the time,” he recalled.
“There’s no question in my mind that if Daniel was alive Anna Nicole would be alive today.”
After a protracted, often bitter court battle, Ms. Smith’s remains were shipped from Florida, where she died suddenly of complications due to drug interaction, to Nassau, and she too was buried at Lakeview.
Mr. Stern also explained why he chose to stay in The Bahamas, where he said he’d eventually apply for permanent residency.
“When she passed, I obviously had a fight to bring her back here to her son, which is where she wanted to be buried,” he said. “I’m not going to leave them here alone, and also the people have opened up their arms to me since she passed away.
“I think the people of The Bahamas are wonderful, with a couple of notable exceptions, but I think there are ulterior motives to that. I want to stay here, and right now I’m not a (permanent) resident so I go back and forth, but eventually, if the people of The Bahamas would accept me, I do want to stay here permanently.”
He reiterated that Ms. Smith had come to The Bahamas to escape the media circus. That goal was achieved, he said, until word of Ms. Smith’s pregnancy leaked out.
“We’d go to Poop Deck [Restaurant] maybe once a week to eat. Anna loved it here. She absolutely loved it here,” he said. “Anna loved the people of The Bahamas and this was going to be her home. No doubt about it, she considered The Bahamas her home.”
Mr. Stern said that when Daniel died, “a lot of people really came to Anna’s aid.”
He also defended the Gibson clan, which he asserted was “very good” to him and Ms. Smith, shielding them from the press, and taking them out on King Eric Gibson’s boat when it was the only escape.
“I feel bad, and I know Anna would feel horrible about the way that the media – even the local media to some extent – treated Shane Gibson after Anna passed, and even before she passed,” Mr. Stern said.
“I know firsthand that the accusations against him are not true. He essentially was punished for being a good Samaritan.”

We agree Howie - Daniel was on to you - the private investigator was getting ready to nail your ahsse to the wall...if you hadn’t offed Daniel - Anna would be alive and you would be in jail!!!!
