In spite of his ‘flighty’ relationship with Anna, Birkhead had public support -primarily because he was not Howard.
We overlooked his ‘Hollywood’ lifestyle, believing his Kentucky roots were solid and his affection for Granma Virgie was sincere. We believed he ‘loved’ Anna and cared for Daniel. We hoped he would create an environment for Dannielynn that would include his KY relatives. We assumed Opri was just an opportunistic media-hogging attorney, but who could protect Birkhead from Howard.
Boy, were we WRONG!
Larry played us...plain and simple. Pretty hard not to recognize at this point that the only REAL, good person in this whole thing was Virgie. That's the lady I'll pray for. She deserves JUSTICE at the least. How her heart must hurt.

Have been checking around to see if there is anything new on the Eroshevich investigation. NO! The waiting game -again! Remember when we had a bet going about DL being 10 years old before anything would be done by the Justice system?

If only the media would put more pressure, there would be movement. I have tried to get on talk shows but never got through. Maybe I should email Greta and Kimberly again. If enough will show interest, they might also.

Did you email? So did I! Nada response - maybe they don’t have enough staff to keep tabs on the investigations & court hearings...or they are just waiting for Howard’s decalogue. I have to believe that if a group of us FReepers were in a room with that toad if he could never suck us into his weirdness. Anna was supposed to be a tough cookie - precisely why he kept her drugged and dependent.
Have been going over old links to see if there is anything I missed...which doesn’t help because of age related memory lapses.

I think this was a very good day in court for Howard to receive a fair trial. Obviously they have already had to change some things due to the media bias as mentioned above. The jurors and Gomez being dismissed seems like a new start in this!
and thank you for keeping us informed of this tangled legal web that will one day end and Howard can rest in peace! I do wonder what he will do when this is all over. If the Marshall’s thing is settled and I were him. I would chalk up his legal career to be a winner and go on vacation forever He deserves to enjoy Life!

We all would like to see justice served but it is evident that the Bahamans and Seminoles are not going to be pushed; we aren't getting a straight story on either ANS or Daniel.

FReepers have always been good at bombarding offenders with e-mails, etc. Is there a Bahaman American Embassy? That's one way to go.
Daniel was an American citizen and entitled to U.S. protection, even in death.

TRACES of Madeleine McCann’s blood have been discovered in the bedroom of the holiday flat where she was last seen, according to reports in a Portuguese newspaper.
It was also reported that attempts had been made to wipe away any sign of the blood.
The newspaper, Jornal De Noticias, reported: “This evidence locates Madeleine’s death inside the apartment, but the investigators are still not certain it was murder, despite the fact that forensic experts have revealed that somebody did try to erase the blood traces.
“The theory most favoured by detectives to explain Maddy’s death - now taken as almost certain - is that it involved an accident. The investigators are convinced that the blood belongs to Madeleine, but they are still holding back the detailed results of the tests until their suspicions are confirmed.”
The discovery has refocused the investigation on the McCanns’ apartment and the group of friends with whom they were holidaying.
I think Opri caught on real quick to the Howard method of recordings and videos. She's entitled to her money. She worked her butt off on this one and everyone knows it. The fact that she wrote him a check for the excess $200,000 says "she's honest". Monies are put into attorney's accounts all the time and they are used to pay bills that are coming due. Documents first obtained exclusively by CelebTV.com detail a shocking legal battle over a videotape of Anna Nicole Smith’s 1994 breast augmentation surgery.
On August 3, Howard K. Stern, Smith’s former lover and the executor of her estate, was granted a temporary restraining order against Dr. Gerald Wayne Johnson, the Texas doctor who performed the breast implant surgery that gave the former Playmate her cartoonish curves. Also named in the suit are Johnson’s wife, Alana Johnson, and Thomas Riccio, an L.A.-based memorabilia broker.
In 1994, Stern alleges, the now-retired Johnson videotaped Smith’s breast implant surgery without her consent, violating several state and federal laws.
According to court papers obtained by CelebTV.com, Dr. Johnson’s wife, Alana Johnson, tried to sell the dramatic surgery video to Riccio. The two allegedly had up to 20 phone conversations about the tape.
The injunction last Friday, signed by Judge Mitchell L. Beckloff in L.A. County Superior Court, prevents the defendants from “selling, distributing or otherwise disseminating, in any matter of media whatsoever, the Videotape(s) at issue” and orders the original VHS tape and all copies to be returned to Stern.
In an earlier filing this year, Stern alleged that selling the tape violates patient/doctor privilege, as well as federal HIPPA guidelines and Texas state law.
Anna Nicole died on Feb. 8, 2007, at the Hard Rock Hotel in Hollywood, Fla.
