Thread Number 3
“””If it is in writing they have to deal with it”””
You want to get me in MOO-MOO DOO-DOO dontcha?
LOL
OMG, he actuallyl said that @@
I didn’t know that!
I missed most of the testimony except what was on video on the net for review.
Not sure, but it sounds like shywolf is asking why Howie, as “just another one of about 40 witnesses,” can ask the Bahamians to change their constitution to have questionnaires or voir dire (or both) of potential jurors in a coroner’s inquest.
I think the answer in AnnaLand would be “because he says so, that’s why.” In the real world, it’s just one of those legal maneuvers that attorneys like to pull out of their tricks bag to “impress” the other attorneys with their inventiveness and creativity.
It’s also called “desperation” and “seeing him sweat.”
Well..
IMO, when the MOO is milking every cow, he should be in DOODOO!
I loved Natalie and I like RJ a lot. Walken scares me, but I don’t think he did anything wrong that night.
I’ve never looked into the case since I’ve been on the ‘Net, so I don’t know a lot of the ins and outs, but I’ve certainly read everything I could over the years about it.
I pretty much concluded it was accidental, too - that beautiful Natasha just tried to run away, drunk, and slipped. Bless her heart and God rest her soul.
“”””Walken scares me,”””
Right - he has so much stage presence - if he’s in the scene, I can’t take my eyes off him. Plus, he usually plays some kind of twisted character.
I don’t got milk;)
I’ll trust your instincts about HK$ being desperate and sweating.
Shywolf has the same bewilderment as the rest of us.
Apparently, any moron in Hollywood who has touched a microphone, or been discussed in the tabloids, gets a ‘freebie’ in the criminal justice system.
OT, I have a sinking feeling that Phil Spector is going to get away with murder.
Thanks, I found the Fox news site just a while ago in between frying taters for the kiddoes and downloaded the video (something I can’t do on my dial up at home - download videos not frying taters LOL)
Yes, that is what i meant(sorry) Just seems like everyone listens when Howie speaks to delay something.
I've wondered the same thing. That is desperation.
O'Quinn (Virgie) can't take any action in the Bahamas that I know of, but he certainly can revive his client's belief that Stern murdered her daughter and grandson.
‘I pretty much concluded it was accidental, too - that beautiful Natasha just tried to run away, drunk, and slipped. Bless her heart and God rest her soul.’
Have to disagree on that one Rte. That was another investigation that went really bad. She was terrified of the water. Would never have gone off alone even drunk. Some real big flags in that story but the world bought it. Just another actress drunk. Autopsy had marks and bruises that couldn’t be explained. Long story but I never bought it was an accident.
What is unconscionable, to me, is that his objection is based on the “unprecedented amount of publicity” Daniel’s death and subsequently, Anna’s death, received.
Here he is, a so-called “officer of the court” in certain venues, actually creating the circus-like atmosphere and initiating, requesting, wooing the media - then signing lucrative “exclusive” contracts with them - to do exactly what he deems objectionable - give the cases an enormous amount of publicity far beyond the coconut telegraph most in The Bahamas are used to.
How much lower can he stoop - and why does the court fall for it? There has to be someone there who will point out that he was the publicity manager for all of it!
From Sod’s previous post:
“”BIRKHEAD: Well, it was it was a long-term plan that we have had together, you know, to have a child. And we tried once before. It was and it was unsuccessful. It resulted in a mcg which so we talked again about having a child, you know, the second time and, you know, and I had made plans and preparations for this child and went to the doctors appointments and went to you know, helped her through morning sickness and shopped for baby items and...””
I think you’re right about LB being a sperm donor and a paid one at that. The way Larry describes their plans to have a baby, in the above quote, it sounds more like a business deal rather than ‘a couple thing’.
When O’Quinn first made the statement about Larry being nothing but a sperm donor, it sounded rather cold and uncaring. However, its beginning to look like Virgie and O’Quinn weren’t being rude to LB, but were just telling the truth.
Wonder if its possible that Anna told Virgie about the ‘baby contract’ she had with LB? Do you think Anna had to pay the donor for his services?? If she really wanted to marry him and he refused, knowing she was pregnant, it sure doesn’t say much for his character. Speaking of LB’s character - it continues to drop like a rock, especially after he openly took up with HKS.
Imho, little DL needs to have her grandma Virgie in her life, to balance out the Hollywood influence she’ll mostly likely continue to be exposed to. Prayers for that precious little one!!!
“I want Seidlins & Milsteins fiduciary relationship investigated. If he had lined up the plum Bahamian assignment for Milstein before the hearing - I want to know about it.” - Sod
“In court, Seidlin said to Howard: “Hey, you knocked on my door in the middle of the night”......
Thinking about it now, I’d say that is way out of line. Seidlin is a public servant and “secret meetings” are out of line especially when you “make a deal” that the “biological father” issue will not be “answered” under any circumstance.” - Saca
Both excellent points! It seems to me that I remember media who were covering the trial being as perplexed as I was at the very sudden introduction of Milstein into the trial. Wasn’t that when everyone was questioning whether or not Seidlin was tossing over alot of the decision making to his ‘appointee’? (sorry been awhile) Same ‘appointee’, or was that someone else in the courtroom, prior to deciding to appoint Milstein? I need a refresher on this. All I remember is Seidlin confering during the trial with someone who seemed to be sitting on the sidelines and, at first, at least I didn’t think, had any standing. Asking his opinion, etc., and then allowing him to question those on the stand. Help with this one...so was this unusual? I just remember feeling uncomfortable about it and the media making a big to-do about it.
Also, re: Seidlin’s knocking on my door comment...would it have been HKS’s side who did this and was Seidlin just being a smartazz or is it possible that HKS/attorneys literally did approach Seidlin about taking the case? I remember the comment and wondered if Seidlin had let the cat out of the bag, but don’t remember the media making a to-do about it. Help again please.
It’s amazing what I can and cannot remember these days. Someone came up to me the other day and said they’d tried to phone me, but that my phone was disconnected. Turns out the number I’d given hadn’t been my # since 2002. And, when I tried to fix the problem, I had to ask my son for the number I’ve had for a year now. I wasn’t sure. Go figure. Maybe I should change my nic to ‘loosingmymind’, LOL
I believe Seidlin had reviewed the case and had everything all decided via the guardian before they walked into court. That part is not unusual. He did want to get some things into the public via testimony to cover his butt. Remember, the fight at the time was over "A DEAD BODY" not a living human being.
My feeling: Virgie should have gotten the body...hands down...she's blood....and of age. The idea that Dannie Lynn via a guardian had any say is an absurdity.
Both bodies belong in the USA. It'll happen SOMEDAY.....when Larry and Howard need some big bucks. They've already said that they've designed an unusual tombstone.
I also believe that her being buried with a tiara was a BIG STATEMENT. THE QUEEN IS DEAD and three people were dancing on her grave...Larry, KE and Howard. The idea that Howard had any say in any of this is an absurdity. At the end of the day, all he and Larry wanted was Virgie to be damaged goods because more important stuff was coming...and Larry and Howard already knew without a doubt who the father was. Howard didn't fight Larry because that became the agreement between them.
“””I think youre right about LB being a sperm donor and a paid one at that. The way Larry describes their plans to have a baby, in the above quote, it sounds more like a business deal rather than a couple thing.””””
Right On Pepper!
AND.... when the deal went bad is when Larry decided to make a claim on the baby!!!!
We have asked “what does HK$ have on Larry???
I think we know! Some kind of written sperm donor contract - not to disclose his paternity!
Debra Opri must have told him it was illegal and unenforceable. There’s an awful lot of stuff that Opri cannot divulge and HK$ knows it.
“”””At the end of the day, all he and Larry wanted was Virgie to be damaged goods because more important stuff was coming...and Larry and Howard already knew without a doubt who the father was. Howard didn’t fight Larry because that became the agreement between them.”””””
Right on Saca!
I can see clearly now - the rain has gone - gone are the dark clouds...........
HK$, KE and Larry believed the furor would die down after the DNA - and Perper’s report....and Larry’s efforts to rehabilitate HK$...”he has some goodness and he is a big help”
But Larry did not go to Kentucky, he went straight to Hollywood with HK$ & KE....to Anna’s house....and VIRGIE KEEPS ON KEEPIN’ ON.
God love her!
There are a few questions that I'd like to toss out for speculation:
1) Why did ANS want another baby? She had not shown many maternal instincts with Daniel.
2) Was Dannielynn going to be used to promote the idea that ANS was still young, desirable and sexy?
3) Was Daniel becoming a liability because of his age, and the fact he was asking questions?
4) Did someone realize that the paparazzi would not be interested in pictures of the baby if Anna was still living; therefore, ANS became expendable? ANS was not a person of interest until Daniel died mysteriously and her death increased public interest. .
5) Was ANS supposed to meet an accidental drowning which would have generated a lot of publicity about her and her baby? This plot makes the baby more valuable for photo ops etc.
6) Did ANS' illness and grief over Daniel cause plans to go awry when she developed more dependency on drugs? I wonder if her death could have been negligent homicide, because 'someone' administered a fatal overdose of drugs before the 'accidental drowning' could be enacted?
I guess my mind is working overtime since I've been tied up the last few days and haven't been too involved with the thread. I never thought LB loved ANS from the beginning of this saga. My opinion of him has gone downhill each time I've seen him on television. The more I hear and learn more about him, the more I'm convinced Virgie should be appointed guardian of Dannielynn! I think Virgie should be kept informed about anything pertaining to Dannielynn. Money made from photo ops and television appearances of Dannielynn should go into a fund earmarked exclusively for her. Larry Birkhead should not be allowed to use her money for his personal expenses. He needs to go to work and earn an honest living and stop becoming a leech like HKS! Sometimes there is truth to old sayings; such as, "Birds of a feather flock together." Sure appears to apply to HKS and LB!
