Monday 16th is Howards arguments at his appeal
Hi u2 diehards;)
(Went back & found this)
Heres information on the inquest.
http://www.jonesbahamas.com/?c=45&a=12754
On July 16, Supreme Court Justice John Lyons will hear arguments from representatives from the Office of the Attorney General and lawyers for Howard K. Stern in Mr. Sterns Constitutional challenge to the Coroners Act.
Mr. Stern, the lawyer/lover of the late Bahamian permanent resident Anna Nicole Smith, is challenging the Coroners Act as unconstitutional because it doesnt allow the coroner to question a coroners jury.
The inquest into the death of Ms. Smiths 20-year-old son Daniel Wayne Smith has been on hold since Mr. Sterns legal team raised the issue of wanting the coroner in this instance Chief Magistrate Roger Gomez to make the jury answer a questionnaire.

Remember the site “IsHowardKSternaMurderer” that was yanked?
Looks as if Lin Wood is penetrating some blogs and causing some tremblies!!!!
As a way to protect FReeRepublic from his goons we probably should only use initials and IMHO (not MOO) LOL!
Van der Sloots daddy was right “no body no case”
Makes you wonder if the plan to dump Anna off the bow of the Cracker was spawned by the Holloway case.
Perhaps Anna was given too many drugs, too soon - she was probably supposed to just appear ‘woozy’ when she boarded the boat.
That might have been one of the reasons for leaving Dannielynn in the Bahamas. Cuz, if she was on board the boat, when Anna fell overboard Dannielynn (without passport) would have been taken to the nearest US blood relative WHICH WOULD HAVE BEEN VIRGIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
MOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!
“Makes you wonder if the plan to dump Anna off the bow of the Cracker was spawned by the Holloway case.

Possibly, but it could also have been spawned by the tragic death of Natalie Wood. (You are probably too young to remember that one.)
“””””...the tragic death of Natalie Wood. (You are probably too young to remember that one.)”””
Nooooooooo... you will see that way upthread we discussed the Natalie Wood case.
HK$ was just a kid when N.Wood drowned ....and just a kept leech when N. Holloway disappeared.
i still want to know WHY Howie can ask to have them answers anything?

On November 29, 1981, actress Natalie Wood drowned in the waters off Catalina Island under somewhat mysterious circumstances. She had been aboard a yacht, the Splendour, with her husband Robert Wagner and the actor Christopher Walken. Reportedly, the three friends spent several hours drinking and arguing before Wood and Walken finally retired to their rooms. Wagner, however, remained on the deck with the pilot. Later, when he went to check on his wife, he found that she wasn’t in her room. He also discovered that the dinghy, which had been tied to the side of the boat, was missing. The authorities were notified and a search began. Eventually, Natalie Wood’s body was found floating face down in the open sea. The dinghy was found nearby in a Catalina cove. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office determined that the actress had died accidentally, probably falling and hitting her head while attempting to board the dinghy. There were several conflicting reports, however, and the tabloids immediately erupted in headlines hinting at foul play. A woman on shore claimed to have heard cries for help from the water that night along with other voices saying they were coming. Wagner and Walken, however, dispute this claim. Los Angeles coroner Thomas Noguchi, who pushed for a more in-depth investigation, also pointed out that there were unexplained marks and bruises on Wood’s body. She was buried in Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles on December 2, 1981.
Prosecutor named to probe 2 Broward judges
BY WANDA J. DeMARZO
wdemarzo@MiamiHerald.com
A criminal probe into possible wrongdoing by two Broward judges will be conducted by the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office.
On Thursday, Gov. Charlie Crist assigned State Attorney Katherine Fernández Rundle the task of investigating accusations that Circuit Court Judge Larry Seidlin received gifts or loans from a local attorney who regularly represented clients in his courtroom.
Fernandez’s office will also investigate whether Broward County Judge Robert Zack inappropriately solicited or accepted gifts or loans from a local attorney who appeared before him on a regular basis.
Crist assigned the cases to the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office after receiving a request from the Broward State Attorney’s Office on July 2. State Attorney Michael Satz said his office could not conduct the investigation because of a conflict of interest.
Seidlin — best known for his crying jags and emotional outbursts during the Anna Nicole Smith case — was a former prosecutor with the Broward State Attorney’s Office and is eligible to preside over cases prosecuted by Satz.
Zack is a sitting judge and his daughter is a former prosecutor.
It’s against the law for judges or public officials to receive gifts from anyone doing business with their agency. Judges also are required by law to report gifts on their annual financial disclosure forms to the state Ethics Commission.
The accusations were first made against Zack during a WSVN-Fox 7 broadcast. Zack allegedly received a $2,500 loan from attorney Lawrence ‘’Chris’’ Roberts, who regularly handled cases before the judge.
Broward Assistant Chief State Attorney Chuck Morton wrote in a June 28 letter that the Broward-Palm Beach New Times reported that Seidlin solicited and received gifts from Roberts. It went on to say that members of Seidlin’s family received property and other gifts from a wealthy 81-year-old neighbor, Barbara Kasler.
Seidlin’s attorney, Edward Shohat, said his client has done nothing wrong.
‘’He never received anything directly from the neighbor, and we can prove that he never received a $1,000 bag from Chris Roberts,’’ Shohat told The Miami Herald. ``But we are not going to prove it in The Miami Herald.’’
Zack’s attorney, Don Wich, previously told The Miami Herald that his client did nothing improper but should have disclosed the loan in open court to avoid the appearance of impropriety.
Roberts told The Miami Herald that he loaned $2,500 to Zack in March 2006. The loan was repaid two weeks ago, after the media began asking questions.
Zack, 64, a judge since 1988, earns $137,020 a year. He has faced Internal Revenue Service liens, dodged an $85,000 lawsuit judgment, struggled to meet mortgage payment deadlines and eventually declared personal bankruptcy.
He also failed, for seven consecutive years, to disclose on sworn financial statements that he owed upward of $90,000 in personal loans to a politically influential bail bondsman who did business in his court.
The Judicial Qualifications Commission investigated him in 2000 but found no wrongdoing. The JQC is now investigating the latest allegations against Zack.
The JQC also is investigating Seidlin after Miami attorney John Thompson filed a complaint about the judge’s conduct during the Anna Nicole Smith hearings.
Seidlin gained notoriety — and high ratings — for his tearful televised performance in the hearings over who should get custody of Smith’s body after the celebrity died suddenly in February at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casinio near Hollywood.
Seidlin resigned from the bench effective June 30. He is reportedly in talks with television executives to get his own courtroom TV show.
Last week, Roberts — a defense attorney and former judge — told The Miami Herald that Seidlin asked for kickbacks in exchange for appointing him to his cases.
Roberts said that about four years ago, Seidlin hit him up for a $1,000 Louis Vuitton handbag — that he wanted to give his wife as a birthday gift.
Roberts said he had his secretary buy the bag at Neiman Marcus. She returned with it wrapped, according to his instructions.
Roberts was regularly appointed over the years by Seidlin as a special public defender, which paid the lawyer $350 a case.
In addition, New Times reported that Seidlin accepted gifts from Kasler, who lives in Seidlin’s Fort Lauderdale condominium building. Among them: $35,000 for Seidlin’s 6-year-old daughter’s tuition at The Pine Crest School, a condo sold to him at below market value and property in Palm Bay deeded to Seidlin’s wife for $100. Seidlin’s disclosure forms filed between 1996 and 2006, show no gifts being received from anyone.
On his income tax reports, attached to his disclosure forms, is a notice from the Internal Revenue Service, informing Seidlin that he owed taxes on earnings — $27,763 — he received from stocks he owned in a Boca Raton company called JAG Media Holdings. Seidlin immediately filed a ‘’Notice of Deficiency’’ in his latest disclosure form filed June 5.
His net worth on his 2006 disclosure form is listed as $1.2 million, up from his net worth listed in 2002 as $702,000.
Seidlin’s attorney refused to discuss any of the information listed on the judge’s disclosure and income tax forms.
‘’When everything comes out and all the facts are known, there is not going to be any wrongdoing found on Larry Seidlin’s part,’’ Shohat said. ``This is all going to end in Larry’s favor.’’

I thought MOO fit howie quite well.
Another great find!
I want Seidlin’s & Milstein’s fiduciary relationship investigated. If he had lined up the plum Bahamian assignment for Milstein before the hearing - I want to know about it.
Great catch! you need to send that request to the Assigned prosecutor sod, In writing. If it is in writing they have to deal with it.
Oh, boy...I remember this well but we never knew much about the temperment of either Wood or Wagner. It sure did look suspicious though. I never liked him for some reason.
Thinking about it now, I'd say that is way out of line. Seidlin is a public servant and "secret meetings" are out of line especially when you "make a deal" that the "biological father" issue will not be "answered" under any circumstance.

Appropriate bribes might persuade some of us here to rat out others... |
“””Seidlin is a public servant””
Some of us thought Seidlin was “on to” HK$ - which was probably true - because, Seidlin already knew what HK$ wanted.
In hindsight, Seidlin treated HK$ as if he were disciplining his own ‘son’- in truth, they were only ‘love taps’. Why did he not show outrage at the lethal drug pushing and controlling behavior of an attorney towards his client?
Unbelievable!
