Wecht must have done a really quick, Bahama's vacation style re-autopsy of Daniel, because his (Wecht's) current behavior is so out of character.

The question i still have is since the Bahamian authorities thought Daniels death was suspicious in the first place, why did HKS/Anna hire Wecht to say otherwise???

I saw him a few minutes ago on MSNBC..... something is definitely fishy re: Dr. Wecht. He is not passing the smell test.

I thought Daniel was anorexic - so why would he be hungry? Just kidding - sort of.
When I was still in the hospital after C-section they didn't let me have fast food - just hospital stuff - though I sneaked chips and chocolate on my last night - so maybe Anna ate too.

Well...although Wecht has already stated what he deems the cause of death...a coroner's inquest is slated to begin within the week. Wecht's neck is most definitely on the line here...at least his reputation is on the line if he blew this incredibly high profile case and has allowed a murderer, now possibly a double murderer, to continue raising a vulnerable baby.

I'd probably be a bit defensive if I were in his shoes.

I wonder when it was written? Haven't seen Barth in the past couple of days on TV (unlike her marathon last week).. what is interesting is O'Quinn was cut off by Greta last night because he was stating HKS is a murderer and she got very nervous.

Perhaps he's auditioning for a spot on ET.
Wecht is behaving oddly-cheerfully siding with HKS and KE.
Most people are running away from them now and yet, Wecht is spinning like a top for them.
I didn't see this, but, my wife said that HKS drove up on a grass curb while fleeing from his home with the baby .
She said he looked like a new driver and she did not like the way he drove, especially with the baby in back.
Guess he's used to being chauffeured around.

Oh, I know. By the time I see a post, several hours have elapsed. Take the LB and ANS look alike. I noticed that LB and Danny Smith could have passed for biological brothers. I'm glad someone else sees a certain resemblance. Dannielynn sure is a cutiepie :)

She is not a Bahamian Citizen because her mother and father are not Bahamian Citizens and she has to wait until she is 18 to apply for citizenship....the Bahamas is not like the USA and just being born there doesn't automatically make you a citizen.... I wish I had Kimberly's email address, I would email her to ask her to correct them next time she is on.

Wecht hasn't passed the smell test since his testimony in the Westerfield trial. No matter what opinion one might have of the Van Dam's, Wecht's testimony about the decay process on their daughter's body was uncalled for, insensitive and proved nothing.

The Contents of the Anna Nicole Package

Dr. Levy sent a package to Anna Nicole's Bahamas home containing such medications as Demerol, Dalmane, vitamin B12 and sleeping pills.

An air bill obtained by the media lists a variety of prescription drugs sent to ANNA NICOLE SMITH's home in the Bahamas on August 8, 2006, just one month before her beloved son DANIEL died from a lethal combination of methadone, Zoloft and Lexapro.

Tonight, ET has the new doctor in the investigation -- and details on the package he sent to the Bahamas!

"The patient had been seen before, and had been prescribed the same medication, and had requested a refill, and I sent the medicine," DR. MAURICE LEVY tells ET.

Dr. Levy specializes in family practice, anti-aging and cosmetic medicine, and has been practicing for 30 years. He tells ET that he did some cosmetic work on Anna Nicole in June of 2006.

"I cherish the memory of a very pleasant, beautiful, sensitive and very charming person," he says.

Speculation remains intense as to what drugs were sent to Anna Nicole prior to Daniel's death and her own demise. It has been reported that there is a document that shows a shipment from Dr. Levy's office to Anna's Bahamas address containing such medications as Demerol, Dalmane, injectable vials of vitamin B12, and sleeping pills. The shipment was delivered to Anna under the name of Vickie Marshall.

"Dalmane was sent to the address, but was not prescribed to Anna Nicole," says Dr. Levy of the prescription sleeping aid, adding that he cannot say who the drug was prescribed to. "I should preserve the anonymity of my patients. I'm talking about Anna Nicole because [since] she passed away, unhappily, her life has been exposed -- not always for the best reasons. But she received only the vitamins."

When asked if it is illegal to transport any of these items to the Bahamas, Dr. Levy replies, "I don't know [about] that aspect. My job is to be very clear and open and honest about writing down everything that was contained in the package."
