It would be unusual for a company not to have some kind of insurance on their top star/spokesperson IMO.

Three days before she died, Anna Nicole Smith was planning a long stay in Dubai.

More precisely: Her attorney, lover and perhaps father of her baby, Howard K. Stern, was making plans to bring her to Dubai, a seaside city in the United Arab Emirates that serves as a hot spot for the rich and famous.

An insider who was in on the negotiations tells me: “Howard knew she was around drugs all the time and wanted to bring her to a place where there aren’t any. He really wanted to bring her here.”

The source says that Stern was concerned for Smith’s health and safety and reached out to the sultan of Brunei for help in getting her to Dubai.

When Smith’s death was announced, the people on the other end were in shock.

“We couldn’t believe it. We thought they were coming here. It’s very sad.”

For what it’s worth, the Dubai insiders — having had e-mail correspondence with Stern in the days leading up to Smith’s death — say the attorney is getting a raw deal in the press.

I would like to know how many parties that were there that weekend and those who had been in her presence the prior 4 months were interviewed by the ME before he came up with this ridiculous suicide cause of death. Where are the needles used to drug her? Did he find injection sites on her butt? Do the video tapes in the hotel show someone removing all the drug evidence?

We may be following the wrong thing. Follow the money. Both may simply be laundering schemes. Kinda like the 10 carat rock. Remember, Anna filed bankruptcy as the grounds for her Marshall suit.

Wouldn't it be nice if Larry got the baby, the Marshall's started a Trust for Dannie Lynn and paid all Larry's lawyer bills and Howard was last seen living in a tent in a secret hideaway.

I simply don't want Howard in jail getting three meals a day at taxpayers expense. I want him to have to struggle to survive.

As far as accidental?? TWO accidental "related by blood" deaths within the same timeframe, i.e., "Last seen alive until death" carries astronomical odds, even higher than DNA odds that are used in convictions."

Marilyn Monroe's "legs" were insured for $1,000,000 and that was back then. Pay the premium and you can have insurance. She was healthy enough to carry a baby, she was healthy enough to have insurance. I'm sure that Howard loaded her down with insurance about the same time as the will.

I think HKS was "directing" the scene in the room (to steal from Sac) and trying to lay out the suicide story to the police, probably before they even asked him any questions.

Yeh, sure, before the cops arrived. After they arrived if he tried any funny business the cops would've gotten immediately suspicious. which he probably did and they probably did.

I don't think Tori has anything to worry about financially now that her mom and she have reconcilled. I saw some of the spoofs on Kathy in Tori's tv show and found them amusing--but Kathy didn't!

The TIME factor takes the accident/suicide factor out of the picture because Anna wouldn't know it. I keep thinking "nose spray" device (inhalation poison via meds, whatever) because it goes right into the bloodstream and acts very quickly. The head would be effected first.

There was one "unknown" med in Danny's system and no "pills" in Anna's stomach.

I remember Alex Goen saying HKS was incoherent on the phone, but then later we heard that he was able to call up one of the husbands who had gone to Horizons and give orders about what to do about the house and said he'd be there right away.

Mr. Tspa is not to be trusted either. I'd go with the Husbands version before his. Tpsa's livelihood, his bread and butter is on the line here.

Wonder what he'll end up doing in all this. He's clammed up in the media too. Are we to surmise that all these players are clamming up at the behest of HKS's lawyers or because they're talking to police?

For Tspa i can't figure the answer out there. He's lied on TV for stern already imo (no insurance at all). (but that was a few weeks ago already). However one lie and the cops will call you on it eventually. They may wait awhile for you to lie some more...

At any rate, anybody on Sterns team at this point still, must have something to hide themselves. So who do you think those people would be?

Anything is possible. You're referring to something that is untraceable right? Then we're on the same page. Close. Or it could be my botox od theory. The blue "full round" lips thing bugs me.

The "catatonic/fetal" statements came from Team HKS, Rale and sister Bonnie, and may have been exaggerated/fabricated in order to elicit sympathy

Or he was faking it. Not really "catatonic" just thinking REAL HARD. Or they're covering for him to excuse why he was MIA. Yeah. Probably that one.

Excellent point. This makes sense as to why Howard K. Smith is so determined not to give his DNA - he has committed crimes previously.

I was thinking more optimistically, like perhaps, in a lucid moment, she did some emailing to which the investigators have gained access.

Unfortunately, I think justice will have to rely on clues left by ANS and DS to solve the mystery of their deaths. I have no confidence in the integrity of the medical examiners and investigators in either jurisdiction.
