“Anna...? Shane calling…”
Reports are that former Bahamian Minister of Immigration, Shane Gibson, has hired the Johnny Cochran of white-collar litigation, Willie Gary, to sue American media outlets for “ruining his personal and professional reputation with scandalous and libelous remarks”.
The irony, of course, is that proud and informed Bahamians would like to see Mr Gibson held to account for ruining our political and legal reputation with his star-struck and shady dealings with Anna Nicole Smith.
But, frankly, Gibson’s case is fatally flawed. Because, to prevail, all any defense attorney for the media has to do is display poster-size shots of him in bed with Anna Nicole whilst playing the barrage of phone messages he left her – over one 24-hour period, which make him seem every bit the unprofessional, pussy-whipped and love-sick puppy the media have made him out to be. In fact even an OJ jury would have to find that no one did more to ruin his reputation than Gibson did himself…
Accordingly, again I plea:
…to preserve the integrity of his government, Prime Minister Perry Christie must demand Gibson’s resignation [not only as minister but also as a renominated MP] forthwith!
And my plea is urgent. Because it is very likely that more embarrassing, if not incriminating, information about Mr Gibson’s involvement with Anna Nicole will be published in the coming days and weeks to titillate the world and humiliate us. Indeed, it behooves the prime minister to appreciate that his failure to act decisively in this regard is having a corrosive effect on his re-election prospects.
Meanwhile, I implore my fellow Bahamians to reject any notion that this pathetic All-American tragedy being played out on our soil is good for our tourist economy. Because the only ones who are truly benefiting are the lawyers, tabloid owners and Howard K. Stern – notwithstanding his sworn denials to the contrary.

No, I pretty much posted what I saw, but was also distracted with bad storms. I'll watch ET tonight and see the 2nd half of KE - but it looks like most of the reveal is already out there in cyberspace.
The tease was about what she took to Dr Perper - looks like she won't say anything, which is what I figured.
I noticed above in an ET post that they left out a whole bunch of what KE said about thinking maybe ANS had had an aspiration, or aspiration pneumonia - she was throwing out possibilities that ran through her mind when HKS called her while the paramedics were there.
The ET story just said "something bad" or an accident or normal things, whatever.
It's probably going right into an offshore corporation account. He'll say that he has the right to make a living. It is my understanding that finding out who the principles of one of these offshore corps is difficult to impossible so it can be in anyones name. Who knows. The whole thing is so dirty.

No, I didn't notice the change to Wed night - that does make a difference, rather than talking to ANS Thu morning. Not sure how KE would've gotten that mixed up. It's much later in FL than in CA!
I thought she herself ate something (I still think she first said she and ANS "went out" and went shopping) *with* ANS on Wednesday early afternoon before she (KE) caught her plane home.
I also finally got clear on the Monday ice bath story of KE's. She originally said ANS had had a 105° fever, then had an ice bath so that the fever broke and she was able to fly. No one else after that ever indicated the ice bath had been in the Bahamas - but I always remembered KE saying "then she could fly."
I didn't remember, or didn't know at the time, that they hadn't arrived in FL at the hotel until 8 pm. So, ANS had her dance lesson, wrote her songs, practiced for her music video on Monday during the day, as in "she was still working when we left for FL" as KE said.
It also sounded like KE was in Nassau with them, rather than in CA - but then, we know KE uses the royal "we."
Wow, all that, with a 105° fever and an ice bath, too! Hours and days in AnnaWorld are like "3 people years = 1 AnnaYear." Anna Domini, of course.
At the end of the day she was on with Pro Pindar (G. Ben Thompson's attorney) and he said that he knew who owned it, and would whisper it in her ear, off air of course.
Okay, who's paying these people off? Both son and then mom die of drug overdoses, and there is no reason to believe foul play is involved? No evidence of drugs in ANS system?
I don't suppose it would occur to any of these experts to have done a hair analysis on either one of them?
Who in government could intercede in Dannielynne's behalf? Sec of State? Atty General? Yeah, like they care. No commie butt to kiss in the Bahamas :( (I'm referring to Elian Gonzales)
Oh, I'm sure it was part of the 5-year contract with ANS/HKS, all revenues going in to Dannielynn's secret trust fund, of course.
Re-negotiation pending, with the death making the contract much more valuable now and open to the highest bidder.

Title searches are easy. I do them all the time as part of my profession and the process here in NY is similar to the Bahamas. Jean might mean that finding the Principal of the entity is difficult. Pindar knows how to do THAT search. Experience is the best teacher. I remember my fiest one. I thought I'd be there all day. Now, I'm in and out before the Parking meter expires.
I wish we knew exactly what the mediation meeting was about in SF at the 9th Circuit on those dates, 12/15-17. None of the newspaper articles online from then seem to know.
I feel certain she called Gibson once on Friday after arbitration to try to wangle something from him telling the court in CA that she was now a Bahamas PR, if it would get her out of something.
She may also have been adding Dannielynn to her side of the Marshall suits.
OTOH, if it were not to their advantage, she and HKS may have needed him to fax some other made-up statement that they could use to prove they didn't reside in the Bahamas.
My guess was that she kept calling him and he was returning the calls, then she'd call him back and they'd talk - but he only had the one cell number to call. She was playing diversionary phone tag, where he couldn't get her directly, but she would call him back.
Not just to make the phone records show him looking bad, but also not traceable on her end - maybe she was using a disposable from CA.
"They" can go pound sand. If they try and make the Atty General resign, there will be a lot of trouble with the Hispanic community. I smell a crusty black pantsuit behind that one...
I've seen the plat for the property, but had no way to link that to recorded documents from my vantage point online.
Not going to happen? Maybe a barrage of emails is in order. Howard is looking worse and worse everyday. I don't think he needs to be taking care of that baby.
