I see contradicting arguments in the autopsy report i.e. whether Chloral hydrate could be detected by someone used to guzzling it. Or, when already sedated, would even care. One of the bases for Perper's conclusion, IIRC, is the inability to slip it to someone undetected. I don't buy that argument.

Rather than use hearsay to answer the Chloral hydrate administration question, I would think forensic evidence would take UTMOST priority. At that point in the investigation, the killer med, or WHAT, has been id'd... now, the big question is WHO?

I would like to know if the Chloral hydrate bottle was analyzed for fingerprints. And, if so, were any fingerprints over-lying ANS's? Whose fingerprints were the most recent? Is there any other objective forensic evidence that could indicate WHO?

Wasn't the cherries and junk mentioned by him??? but he never mentions KE...Or did he?? She was a pretty sick girl on Monday and Tuesday AND Wednesdy (dry tub day.)

Remember, the ice bath was Moe's GRANDMA'S REMEDY according to his early statement and I don't think he mentioned even KE being present.

I'm sure Moe and Taz have figured it out. I think they were a couple of people that Howard simply couldn't/wouldn't get rid of because she weighed 178 pounds and Howard is a woosh. Howard didn't even jump in the the pool for her...He called Moe!!

Bet that's why they jumped in the water on shore. Howard can't swim and is afraid of water. (Maybe that's the key to his past?)

That darn police report is so full of thank you's and move along, nothing here but a druggie taking a drug overdose. Think about Wecht's meltdown on CTV last week.... he was going on about druggies and their drug-seeking behavior and how no one could save a druggie, etc...

See where this is going? Everyone is taking the attitude that too bad, she took drugs, she died, doesn't matter if someone gave her the drugs to do this with..... grrrrrrrrr incompetence abounds in this country.

My husband sculpted dolls and I dressed them (we made lady dolls) and I used to take them to NY Toy Fair each year (all the dealers come there to buy)... after 911 flying with them became too difficult because of TSA going through everything and not putting back wrapped correctly, etc., plus the ever lowering weight limits and increased fees for extra luggage.

I had several friends (Illinois and Mississippi) that did the same and we shared a room in Manhatten and spent ten days running all over the place, shopping, resturants, Broadway Plays, etc.... Hard work and a lot of fun, I don't miss the work part, though.

Now my husband keeps busy painting murals and doing faux work here in town.

Good points. I'd be willing to be no one looked at the fingerprints on the bottles. I read here that Chloral Hydrate is undetectable in soda and soda cans were found next to her bed.

Also, if it is so detectible, how does it pass as a date-rape drug? Isn't it what the guy Dog Chapman brought back from Mexico was slipping into girls drinks?

With all these pills and syrups to review, it's easy to get confused...

Chloral hydrate comes packaged in a 473 ml. amber colored plastic bottle. Weird! Why not 500 ml? (I'll learn how to post a proper link soon.)

Didn't the autopsy report state that around 1/2 of the bottle was consumed? 177 mls. left in a 473 ml. bottle would indicate 2/3's of the bottle had been consumed.

I know that. That's why I don't buy that part of Perper's report, the argument is flawed based on the routine and the ingestion history.
