After reading the Perper reports a couple of times through, I see that what's really ironic is that the conclusion means that ANS had not been overdosing on chloral hydrate long enough to build up her tolerance to it, which she had done with all the other drugs, so overdosing on it this time was her big mistake.
The way everything reads is that it's perfectly all right to do all the cr*p she did, just don't let it catch up to you.
And I'll be darned if Daniel's autopsy results don't say the same thing - he just hadn't taken too much methadone for long enough to build up a tolerance to it, so his first overdose of it killed him.
The values of this lifestyle are staggering to me - and I'm no stranger to substance abuse or addiction. I've just never been around people who condone all this so blatantly or who act so blasé and matter-of-fact about doctors and friends - and even brand new attorneys who never knew the deceased - saying "what Anna wanted Anna got - it's as it should be."
It's no secret that pill-poppers or prescription drug addicts are the hardest of all to sponsor in 12-Step programs and get good results. I know that firsthand. Their justification makes alcoholic denial look like child's play.
LOL, I saw a young celeb yesterday - maybe Britney? - on TV, walking from a program meeting with her "sponsor" - a male. 13th Stepping. Makes me want to tear my hair out over some of these things. But I won't.
We all have cooler heads but we haven't got the blackmail material that HKillerS has.
I'm trying to figure out the public part of the inquest myself.
Even this dog was a better "caregiver" than HKS, Moe, and Taz. Maybe if this dog was at the Seminole Hard Rock Anna would still be alive...

Choking Owner Says Her Dog Performed Heimlich Maneuver by Jumping Up and Down on Chest
CALVERT, Md. Mar 27, 2007 (AP) — Toby, a 2-year-old golden retriever, saw his owner choking on a piece of fruit and began jumping up and down on the woman's chest. The dog's owner believes the dog was trying to perform the Heimlich maneuver and saved her life.
Debbie Parkhurst, 45, of Calvert told the Cecil Whig she was eating an apple at her home Friday when a piece lodged in her throat. She attempted to perform the Heimlich maneuver on herself but it didn't work. After she began beating on her chest, she said Toby noticed and got involved.
"The next think I know, Toby's up on his hind feet and he's got his front paws on my shoulders," she recalled. "He pushed me to the ground, and once I was on my back, he began jumping up and down on my chest."
That's when the apple dislodged and Toby started licking her face to keep her from passing out, she said.
"I literally have pawprint-shaped bruises on my chest. I'm still a little hoarse, but otherwise, I'm OK," Parkhurst said.
"The doctor said I probably wouldnt be here without Toby," said Parkhurst, a jewelry artist. "I keep looking at him and saying 'Youre amazing.'"
I bet the dog would have called 911.

Anna Nicole Smith son inquest delayed

NASSAU, Bahamas (AP) - It's delayed, for now. An inquest into the death of Anna Nicole Smith's 20-year-old son was put off today, just before a jury was to be picked.
The courtroom in the Bahamas was cleared shortly after a hearing was convened, to let an attorney for Smith's estate ask the judge to consider a motion that hasn't been spelled out.
A court spokesman says the delay is expected to last at least a day.
The panel was to look into whether the death of Smith's son Daniel was a homicide. He died in September while visiting his mother after she gave birth in a Bahamas hospital.
Yesterday, the results of an autopsy on Smith herself were released in Florida. The report said her death on February eighth was due to an accidental overdose involving a lethal combination of at least nine prescription drugs.

I don't know if the public and jury part of an inquest is tradition or law, but I'll bet the Bahamians are going nuts with HKS wanting to 'screen' them for bias or get rid of them all together.
But if it's all good for the inquest to be public, why not the results of the DNA?
*They* say ANS's homes in L.A. were always trashed, so I don't think that's anything new.
Liz *used to* OD a lot and also have killer pneumonias but survived and got wiser. I believe she knows she was touched by an angel somewhere along the way.
That's a good guestion regarding hygiene. I bet she probably did pick up after herself. I think HKS just brought out the worst in her. I think he's the reason she didn't pay her bills and reneged on so many deals. I've noticed that all of the good stories about Anna are sans HKS. Peter Nygund had nice things to say..no HKS. Larry says when it was just the two of them and just Daniel they had good times. You can see by the pictures that she adored him. Look at the body language. If anything he seemed to be the distant one. (I'm just keeping in real). When at the Shelly's HKS was hardly there and from the pics and the accounts she seemed really happy. Those nice pics of her and Daniel at the beach are from that trip. She and Daniel both looked amazing. HKS is like a psychic vampire.

Nice article but why don't the say that it was HKS that called for the motion because he is afraid that the jury is prejudiced. Great..he's got everyone scared now.
I just don't see where he gets standing to do this - he's just "one witness," that's all. Sort of like the burial hearings, where does he come off the "boss o' da world" on all these things "Anna"?
He's so despicable with his behind-the-scenes manipulations and "vows of secrecy" and "confidentiality agreements" - someone has got to do something to stop him.

I read somewhere that ANS and HKS lived like pigs in California. If she lived up to her idol Marilyn Monroe, she probably had poor hygiene too. Marilyn Monroe didn't like to bathe. I hold my nose every time I see a picture of Marilyn Monroe lol! Stinky!!!
