Thread Number Two
Kat, since you seem to know how to do these little animated things, could you see if you could find an animation of two hands high fiving each other?
We might (hopefully) need that today.
Thanx!
Oh you're referring to HKS 's presser. Good thinking. But i have a feeling that unless he's bought off one or more of the jurors his effort will be for naught. From all accounts i've seen, the Bahamians don't like/trust this guy.
By MATT SEDENSKY Associated Press Writer
MIAMI The weeks after Anna Nicole Smith's death were filled with public courtroom drama and private whispers about what might have killed the former Playboy Playmate.
On Monday, the county medical examiner planned to reveal the truth.
The office had delayed releasing Smith's autopsy results because of additional evidence, still not publicly released, about what had left the model unresponsive Feb. 8 at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood.
Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper's initial examination revealed no serious injuries and no evidence, either in Smith's stomach or her bloodstream, that she had taken large amounts of prescription medication. Perper said prescription drugs, but no illegal drugs, were found in Smith's hotel room. He wouldn't identify them.
The initial examination also found signs of inflammation in Smith's heart. Perper said it was "something which looks a little bit unusual" but "may be nothing."
Smith had arrived at the Hard Rock on Feb. 5 and planned to leave four days later aboard a new yacht that her companion Howard K. Stern was arranging to buy. She was seldom seen outside her room during her stay: She was said to be suffering from a stomach flu before she died.
Because her death was so sudden, and because her 20-year-old son Daniel died under suspicious circumstances five months earlier, there has been speculation about possible criminal activity surrounding the deaths.
Perper said he knew of no criminal investigation into Smith's death. The Seminole Police Department is investigating because the casino is on tribal land.
An inquest into Daniel's death is scheduled to start Tuesday in the Bahamas, where he died.
Smith, 39, grew up in Texas and went from topless dancer to Playboy Playmate of the Year, Guess jeans model and bride of 89-year-old oilman J. Howard Marshall II. She took her fight for Marshall's estimated $500 million fortune as far as the Supreme Court, and the ongoing battle could make her infant daughter, Dannielynn, very wealthy. Stern and two other men have claimed to be the baby's father.
Seidlin destroyed Howard's attorneys "PLAN" when he took over the questioning.
AND, with TWO related deaths under unusual circumstance...Seidlin awarded Howard ANOTHER hat....ENABLER
Seidlin knows that SOMEDAY, maybe, Anna and Danny will be back in the USA...but in the meantime, this WAS the solution AND Howard COULD NOT keep either Virgie or Larry away from that funeral.
Howard had mistakely put himself in a position where he was forced to testify. "Let's Make a Deal" didn't sit well with Seidlin because that DNA test was intimately attached to every hat that Howard came into court with.
Thanx!! This story gets more complex by the day!!
What time is Perpers presser? 2 hours from now? They're not even waiting for us West Coasters to wake up!
What do you refer to with "Let's make a deal"? What was in it for Seidlin?
This is so true.
My aren't you a ray of sunshine this morning. Come now. We must have faith in the system.....(until such time as we see that internal US government corruption is involved).
That works! Thanx! Here's to hoping we'll be using it later!

My four foot nothing German MIL (who died at 96 two years ago) raised peter peppers just because of the way they looked. LOLL She would also bust out laughing at huge cukes.
""""From all accounts i've seen, the Bahamians don't like/trust this guy.""""
The public sentiment in the Bahamas is favorable to LB. If Perper's results exonerate HK$ - the Bahamians may step up to the plate WRT Daniel's inquest.
It will be a way of saying "Hey US, we do things right"
They certainly want a way to disinfect the Gibson/Anna/HK$ mess.
That would be SO great!
LOL, they are something special ;0)
BTW, those Tepin (chiletepin) peppers on that link are what we call 'nBirds Eye peppers. Hotter'n all get out. I can't eat them straight, but bottle them in vinegar to use or dry them and smash and use like red peppers flakes. They grow well and come back year after year.
"""""as to why Howard didn't get her medical help and why he left her with 105 fever,"""""
Totally out of character for HK$ - he could at least have held an umbrella over her head to cool her down.
Remember what Moe said ....."Howeird was acting strange"
