Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
There cannot be any "legal" deals out of court over the baby. It now must be settled in court. Yes Stern can promise to back off on something if Larry backs off on others. I think Stern now knows he has no right to the child and that he cannot avoid a DNA test. He has 2 choices: do it in the Bahamas or do it in California.
You may be unto something. If he listed that as his residence, we might find out that the good doctor also lists it as his residence. In other words....someone is living there and I think we should find out who.
I'm just wondering if HKS will try to get Dannielynn to Larry to keep Virgie from having her.
I think the apartment was mentioned because I think I remember Howard saying that Anna paid the rent.
What was the doctor's name?
The number is 818 880 59. I divided it to emphasis the number of digits. A couple missing?? The Bar usually an Attorney directory. Most of them list their faxes now.
Your post has a little curved road built into it.
Literally.
Look between the 3rd and 4th word down to just above the end where it curves down to Virgie.
On my screen it is real obvious.
Mine did, too. It took "motherhood" and a little girl "just as lovely as herself" to make it happen. "I never dreamed you could love someone instantly".
I think so... if there is any dealing going on between the 2 it is to keep the baby out of Virgie's hands (that is Stern's motives - Birkhead may just be going along with it so that he can see his child while all of this is settled.) All in all Virgie will be entitled to visitation with her grand daughter and I am sure Birkhead has no problem with that. Stern is probably trying his best to turn Birkhead against Virgie. That is how Stern operates but not everyone is Anna. Birkhead could use what Stern is doing against him in court if needed later on down the road. Let Stern think he is playing Birkhead - but Birkhead is probably playing and getting over on Stern more than Stern thinks he is. Stern has a huge ego he doesn't think people are as smart as he is.
I believe she had called Anna but did not get through. After that, Howard had the number changed.

Convention on the Rights of the Child
The Convention on the Rights of the Child is the first legally binding international instrument to incorporate the full range of human rightscivil, cultural, economic, political and social rights. In 1989, world leaders decided that children needed a special convention just for them because people under 18 years old often need special care and protection that adults do not. The leaders also wanted to make sure that the world recognized that children have human rights too.
The Convention sets out these rights in 54 articles and two Optional Protocols. It spells out the basic human rights that children everywhere have: the right to survival; to develop to the fullest; to protection from harmful influences, abuse and exploitation; and to participate fully in family, cultural and social life. The four core principles of the Convention are non-discrimination; devotion to the best interests of the child; the right to life, survival and development; and respect for the views of the child. Every right spelled out in the Convention is inherent to the human dignity and harmonious development of every child. The Convention protects children's rights by setting standards in health care; education; and legal, civil and social services.
By agreeing to undertake the obligations of the Convention (by ratifying or acceding to it), national governments have committed themselves to protecting and ensuring children's rights and they have agreed to hold themselves accountable for this commitment before the international community. States parties to the Convention are obliged to develop and undertake all actions and policies in the light of the best interests of the child.
Think again. Who paid the bills?? Anna?? Ya think?? Don't think so. Howard took care of all her stuff. Bet the auction was phoney. Happens all the time.
Virgie's got all of Daniel's baby pictures. She watched him from the age of 3 months.....for six years. Yes, Anna's some mother.
I feel better, too. I think you are right, O'Quinn has not read the newer laws. I was very depressed yesterday. I want her to have visitation with her grandchild, but want the child raised by her biological father (Larry). Thanks for finding this.
Remember they were law partners until ANS became his one and only client. Her probably maintains that address for his law license purposes.
So Virgie went there thinking the baby would be up but Howard made sure it was "nap time".
I bet they have never had a case like this before or possibly not a case like this one during this Bahamian judge's life.
Yesterday I was really getting sucked in the info of the Grandmother getting custody. I figured fine - Birkhead can fight her over here after she brings the baby back. There is no way that a Bahamian ruling would hold up over here in the states if someone wanted to fight it on US soil once he baby starts living on US soil. If Larry is award custody of the baby through the Bahamian courts. Then Virgie can fight him here on US soil. But she is going to need quite a bit of money for that.
I don't think she arrived until 8 pm.
If Larry is proven to be the biological father, I don't see how Virgie could get custody.
But I haven't read all of the posts here, so maybe I'm missing something...
If Larry gets custody, I feel sure he would let Virgie come see her grandchild--and even hold her! LOL
