Anna Nicole Smith has died according to ABC News

Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.

Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.

Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

No, that is incorrect, a trained EMT knows how to do CPR and doesn't need a monitor! You feel for pulse, check breathing etc. GEEEZ! There are so many falsehoods in his story!!!

Has Mo said from the beginning that Anna wouldn't get in the tub or is this something new he is saying? If it's new, could it be an explanation for why she had bruises on her back and head?

I've seen a post wherein someone said that there were hints that Anna may have died from a seizure and that she had a problem with seizures. Is any of the medications she was on seizure medication? If so, why didn't Stern mention that medication when he was on the stand?

I want to know where exactly this guy is an EMT....so, I can make sure never to go there! If nothing else, he and his "nurse" wife need some extensive re-training! I can't even count the many, many times I've transferred a 9-11 call to the correct locale. Mo is either stupid or lying....or both.

Nobody but the inner circle knows what time these events actually took place, do they? WRT the supposed attempt to recusitate Anna. Or does anyone at the hotel know the time line or did they have any knowledge of what what going on in that room? If nobody but the inner circle knows, then HKS's cell phone records wrt the time at which he called the paramedics will tell us nothing.

Did i miss an important point somewhere? I've missed about a thousand posts today, so i'm behind. My point is, since HKS told them not to call the paramedics and if they followed his instruction, we have no proof if he delayed the phone call to 9-1-1 on purpose.

I'm NOT an EMT, just a mom, and even I know that you NEVER put someone with high fever in ice. If ANS didn't kill herself, she was killed by the stupidity surrounding her.

I still think the ice bath was part of the attempt to kill her. That's why i question where they got that much ice. From room service? Sneak it in from the corner store? what? If it was done on the sly then it's even more suspicious. So it's a minor question maybe, but the room service staff should be questioned about it.

The possibility of any charges being filed against Stern for murder, (at least) depend in large part on the findings of the medical examiner for Anna's and Daniels death inquiry. Daniels "overdose due to a combination of drugs" is questionable because he is not known to have been a drug user. But if Anna's cause of death is something like a siezure or stroke, they could attribute that to the drugs. And since everyone knew she was a druggie, HKS could walk away scott free. Unless the FBI are really putting the facts together as we are and are suspecting that foul play is involved. Which they'd better be.

You might be right about him keeping ANS under control. I heard the body guard, Moe, say something even STRANGER in the interview with Larry King. The following is from the transcript:

When I heard Moe say " you know he's going to take care of the baby like it's his own ", I couldn't believe what I was hearing. IMHO, Moe was literally admitting that HKS was NOT Dannielynn's father. I think he slipped up and told the truth. The ONLY time you'd say a person would raise a child LIKE IT WAS HIS OWN, would only be when you are talking about some one who was NOT the father of the child, imo. Right??

All of the people involved in this case, who are doing interviews, may very well sink themselves by mis-statements such as what Moe said above. Imho, it was a MAJOR slip up by Moe. Since Anna is gone, Howard becomes the one who will give Moe the good life of living in mansions, taking cruises on expensives boats and etc. What he said about Howard raising DL as his own, told me she is NOT HKS's baby, and Moe knows it. He screwed up - plain and simple.

Stern did mention Topomax at the bench trial, and it is a seizure medication. I googled it a while ago.

New to FR as a poster, long time lurker.

From what we've heard from the flunkies taking care of her, I'm not surprised that one of her "team" would suggest the ice bath treatment in order to reduce her fever. Their amateurish attempts at resuscitating ANS demonstrate either their limited medical knowledge or application due to "circumstances" (HKS influence).

Granted, you could kill someone via the hypothermia approach, but that seems to be a stretch to me. I think the attitude of her staff was to do ANYTHING to keep her out of the negative PRESS. What would be the benefit of "pre-dating" her time of death? That would only prove that she had been dead for a longer time and that all in her care were more negligent. Seems that it would work against them.

don't forget Daniel and his mother had a FIGHT before she left California - she threw him out and he had to live with a friend to finish school and then he started a junior college while living with this friend. Just how concerned was ANS with Daniel before he died and how much contact did they have?

Yes, this was a major slip up by Moe.

And he referred to ANS as "baby girl"? To me, the implications are scary. I hope the ANS's daughter will survive. Crazy to let HKS have custody.
