Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

I understand saline implants can grow bacteria as they age, if she had saline implants and one ruptures, wonder if it could have caused a bacterial infection in her system?
THAT would be fun!!!! My husband got me hooked on it.
ABC's of Resuscitation...airway, breathing and circulation. They would attach the AED and defibrillate if necessary. The EMTS would have had one.

I will jump in when I can! My hubby and I, he is an Emergency Doc, felt something was wrong from the start with the "story". When I heard Mo talk I was thinking no way and what kind of Nurse was in the room..they call Nurses Aides "nurses" nowadays.

Before I go - can you please explain what the "monitor" is that Mo talked about? That supposedly the EMT crew - the first team that came - didn't have? Is that possible?
I don't think we are dropping this thread until it's solved. This doesn't pass the "smell" test.
I only know that if they were contmainated in manufacturing or insertion they could have bacteria. They dont "grow" it per se.

I am really surprised that no one in Anna's room thought to check with the desk regarding what lifesaving equipment might have been available on property. Defibrillators are on airplanes now, in shopping malls, etc. I would bet that the Hard Rock had some. Has anyone else wondered this?

I dont know but I will take it! Really..Hayley is so stressed I dont think she even thinks of eating! He is too obsessed with himself to take care of her. I know someone who went to him for a consult for a tummy tuck. He asked her how many kids she had. She told him one. He said she needed to have another baby for her other child to have a sibling and said he wouldnt do it. What a jerk!
No.. would have been a good question for Greta to ask Mo, wouldn't it?
