Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."
Thinking more about your question - thank you for catching that. And remember the wife - Taz - had said she didn't call 911 because she didn't want to lose the airway she was providing for Anna (meaning I guess move herself over to a phone to call 911 when all she needed to do to call Mo was to push a button on her bluetooth earpiece.)
Here's another question.
When Mo got to the hotel - at the soonest 5 mins after his wife called but I believe he said he was longer away - but he ran through stoplights to get there. But when Mo got to the hotel - why couldn't he have checked at the front desk to find out if the EMT were on their way? (since he had said Howard was going to call them - assumingly right after Mo called Howard).
Wouldn't MO as a trained EMT guy wanted to be SURE the real rescuers were on the way????
Because obviously the EMT guys were NOT ON THEIR WAY TO THE HOTEL WHEN MO STARTED HIS CPR. So had he checked with the front desk - they might have told him they had not heard from Stern yet to call 911. Then Mo could tell them to call 911 right then - but he evidently didn't stop to find out if 911 had been called by the hotel.
Again, another strange action from somebody whose chief concern should have been saving Anna Nicole's life.
I will say that Mo said on his earlier interview that he "thought he could revive Anna Nicole just like he had done with her when he had pulled her out of the pool. She came around then."
So maybe he figured he could take care of it. Didn't need the 911 people and all the press that would generate.
But here we have TWO incidences that week in which the people who are supposed to care so much for Anna Nicole do NOT get her emergency medical help when she needs it - first during the fever incident and 2nd when she stopped breathing.
Mo has got to be feeling some guilt about Anna Nicole's death.
As to ANS having the procedure done...I have read about it several times (since her passing) and I seem to recall (though I didn't follow her that closely) that she had them for awhile (maybe back in the reality show daze.)

That would sure feel wierd to whomever is doing CPR!
I think Mo is going to regret giving all these interviews. It will be interesting to compare transcripts, this story sounds very similar to the story he told Larry King. I didn't hear all that interview, but don't think he mentioned Bridget in that interview, either.
Just another question (since you said you have broken ribs during chest compression). Wouldn't/couldn't implants rupture during strong compression? Not a cause of death...but I would guess complicate the CPR process.

Yes, I agree. Sorry for not finishing the context of his pink lips commnet. But that wasn't the part important to me. It was Mo saying he pulled to covers back to see her lips.
Was her implants Silicone or Saline? The saline will rupture more easily than the silicone, but they do rupture as well, especially if the bags are getting older. If silicone, it could stay encapsulated in the breast tissue.

They can rupture but wouldnt interfere..at least when I do it. I just keep going no matter what til the code is called.
