Night all
LOL. I have never had them, but I am not a big fan of licorice. Do you like them? My foreign exchange "daughter" brought us some licorice from Finland, it was very strong and salty. Not my favorite candy.
I found this in Google.
JRios--nutella/gnutella ping...8^)
Don't overlook the Congressional campaigns. They can be very interesting because the whole campaign hinges on people in a relatively small area. Each letter to the editor, each event, each bit of news coverage will likely be seen by a bigger percentage of the voting public. If you knock on all the doors in just one precinct, you can have an impact on things. At the presidential level, it's harder to see each neighborhood as being all that important.
Another nice thing about the Congressional campaigns is that the people who are willing to volunteer will on average be more politically involved and aware. Because presidential campaigns are so visible, they attract many of the people whose involvement is really pretty shallow. We appreciate their help, but many of them wouldn't be willing to put forth the same effort for a campaign that wasn't on the national news every night.
Finally, because fewer people are involved in the Congressional campaigns, you'll likely get to know the candidate. Admittedly, you're probably past the point where you are all that excited about knowing someone who's reached high office, it would still be fun to be able to write to a Congressman about an issue knowing that he'd recognize your name if he saw the letter personally. If you are involved in a Congressional campaign and if your candidate wins, you'll likely have one person in Congress who knows and likes you personally. Senate and presidential campaigns won't give you that situation.

Yeah, it's a dangerous condiment. I'd like to someday make a Nutella, peanut butter and marshmallow creme sandwich - it's got to be an amazing combo but so far, just a theory.
Hey, that's cool MountainFlower.
thanks!!
Nice image. My friend sent me home with half of a red-velvet cream-cheese frosting cake tonight, so I'm not worried about Nutella anymore. I think the cake might contact me for a little midnight meeting... (tee hee!)
Took me a second, but I get it.
That's ok...it was intended to provoke thought! :)
What images would you use to depict the job-hunt? That's what I'm doing right now (in another tab) and Luthor Vandross is singing "Work, work, it's gonna work out..."
Haven't been there before, I'll have to check it out soon.
Are you in AK too?
Nutella on toast is the way the Danish eat it for breakfast. It's actually pretty good.
Nutella on toast - YUM!
I always liked it on a bagel.
It's great with pretzels, too (mmmmm, salt). I'm sure it would even go good with celery, no?
I tried it on bagels a few times while I was in Denmark. You're right, it is good that way too.
Never tried Nutella on celery, that sounds good though.
